@valeriechen3431 o right ok well I look forward to keep diving into them only heard this one and egotistic n a few snippets of other from killing voices
Enjoyed your reaction and you're right about Mamamoo's hooks, their the best. Looking forward to your reaction to WHY MAMAMOO IS THE MOST UNDERRATED KPOP GROUP ❤❤🦋❤
Didn't know them before, thank You for showing me. The vocals and the production is very good, I am just missing some soul and emotion ... but maybe I will find it if i am listening more times ;)
@frankhusemann9174 thabks for giving a new artist a try, u lot all get me into new artist so glad I can return the favour, they still new to me but check out my reaction to mamamoo egotistic I did about a month ago it's a better song n maybe u will like that one more they difinetly deserve another listen 🙂👍
@MooMooMuse yea I'm sure I will enjoy them more n more as I go on gonna check out that documentary why are mamamoo the most hated kpop group or something out next 🙂
Hey Gavin think the documentary released last year would be very interesting to you. As its a complete look at everything mamamoo. They go over their discography, won't spoil anything music wise just little snippets. Its called "Why mamamoo is most underrated group in kpop"
Mamamoo really are the best live vocalists and exceptional with performance. Mamamaoo does nearly every genre, you probably need to listen to more of their songs but it is probably better to say mamamoo makes every genre part of mamamoo. The queendom performance of this song is the best version, definitely watch that video as well as the I Miss You and Destiny performances from Queendom. They also did AOA's goodluck on queendom(AOA did egotistic and is good). This MV is a but strange with putting a completely different song in the middle. That was an intro to the song memories. It is more common to intro new songs at the end of an MV not in the middle. That part is not on the album nor in live or other performances.
@sendarian yea u know what I need to check out a live performance of them that's a must to see how good they are live, I mean I saw the killing voices but I wanna see them on a stage in front of a crowd too 🙂 amazing vocals n a unique sound that I just love 🙂
I love your confused admiration for Mamamoo. I think you should continue to listen to MMM with fresh ears and an open mind so I don't want to tell you what to think about them or try to correct comments you made that I disagree with. Decalcomanie is a French word for the process of transferring art from one medium to another. It's where we get the word decal from. It's pronounced Day-kal-ko-man-ee. In this case they're using the word as a metaphor for the passion of two people making love and impressing their bodies on, in and around each other as they merge physically and emotionally. That's how they experience it as women and Decalcomanie is specifically about their their feelings rather than the guy's. He's irrelevant as an individual and the male actor in the MV simply stands for "generic guy." Mamamoo songs about love, sex and desire are more adult than the cheesy greeting card sentiments expressed in most pop songs. Mamamoo's main rapper is called Moonbyul and her full name is Moon Byulie. She's aka Moonstar because byul means star and you can call her that if you want. The best tip I can give you for pronouncing Byul is to avoid adding another vowel sound between the B and Y. It's not Bye-yul or Bee-yul. It's not easy for English speakers but you'll get it with a little practice. Since you like hooks I think you'll enjoy Gogobebe, another song from the Killing Voice session. Why Mamamoo is the Most Underrated Kpop Group is an excellent intro to the group that explains how they stand out from the crowd as artists, activists and people. You're absolutely correct that Mamamoo has carved out their own unique niche in kpop with a sound and style that's all their own and the guide video will deepen your understanding of the members and their impact on kpop.
@kudgeond755 thanks for all the information appreciate it, I will absolutely carry on checking them out, and that's fair but if u wish please correct me on the the comments I made that u want to disagree with we all have opinions as long as we respect each other it's good to talk about them 🙂 anyway maybe I'll check that fan made video out next why are mamamoo underrated, thanks for the support and comment 🙂
@GavinsRRD No way - I love that you have different opinions and prefer to see how they evolve as you get to know Mamamoo and their music. You're in for some surprises along the way and it's more fun if they're actually a surprise. Have fun! 😂
@kudgeond755 o right ok fair enough at least u cool with people who have different opinions I know some people get annoyed if I say I didn't like a certain song or part of one lol thanks I think I'll enjoy the mamamoo ride 🙂
For some fun songs... look at 1cm (you need the lyrics) and um oh ah yeah :) They would be my suggestions. I'm biased... i do think they have the best vocals. I disagree that mamamoo have a genre .... I do think they have a sound.... and it revolves around the vocals and harmonisation. For this MV, There is no story here, its more of a concept that is reflecting the words of the song. 'you and i kiss, i feel good'. its a bit of a sexy/mature theme, i take it as that their innocence is being lost in this person... the imagery etc in the song is hated by many people, but i love it, and it suits the song very well. You could almost think of the man as a prop in this MV... he is only there as the 'love interest' to demonstrate to give meaning to the point between the tension built up in the verses, to the explosion of joy expressed in the chorus.
@Genera1007 aha OK thanks for filling me in then maybe that's why I wasn't picking up on anything, it was just a fun song, such amazing voices love them
oh MAMAMOO never sticks to one genre. They have a huge discography and they try and nail everything🥳

@GavinsRRD 👍 MMM is one of the deepest rabbit holes in kpop and, as moomoos (MMM fans) like to say, Once you Wheein you can't Wheeout! :)
