The pointing of "mixing" music is that it has to have a "flow". That's how a "set" becomes a "story". An ordinary stand-alone track in a set could sound 5X mindblowing because it has been mixed with the right track before and after it. To respect the art of DJing in the electronic music sub-genres is to respect the art of holding "long" mixes, and not make it "jerky".
