Children’s footsteps appearing is impressive. You normally have footsteps being heard or footprints appearing so when a sound appears visually that’s worth investigating.
"Welcome back, Henry! How was Crewe?" "Station Haunted," replied Henry bluntly. James faulted. "Wh-what?" "Station. Haunted," reiterated Henry, puffing back toward Crewe, rail-gun in tow.
Has anyone attempted correlation between the wail and the movements of rolling stock? Because it sounds to me like the sound of a train rushing past at speed, heard through some distance of earth.
A long elevator shaft like that could reverberate in such a form indeed, also wind noise from any opening can form that sound. Sounds themselves like that ain't much, things get creepy when you hear clear voices...
It could be a change in air pressure from moving rolling stock or the wind. There’s a sound wave know as infrasound, spook sound or creep noise. Human hearing can’t hear any sound below 20Hz but we can still detect the vibration. They think it’s either the fact our body is picking up on a sound it can’t hear that creeps us out or that the sound tunes into a part of our brain. A bunch of scientists did a mass experiment on seven hundred people, they put on a concert for them and then had the audience fill out forms, some of the music was just regular music but some of the music had infrasound being played in the background and pretty much everyone said they felt uncomfortable or creeped out during the songs which had the infrasound being played with them. They think that infrasound might be the reason for certain haunted locations. It’s even been used in a few horror movies.
As much as I am a none believer and don't normally defend suspicion, being from around the area and working meters from the station at one point in my life, at times where the noise can be heard there definitely isn't rolling stock as Crewe station basically shuts traffic after about 10pm
@@ejcmoorhouse I passed through Crewe on the way to the Battle of Nantwich in January; I thought the time between trains / buses is long enough. I was pleased when the Nantwich bus came... Crewe & Nantwich may only be 5 miles apart but they're completely different!
What a stupid pile of crap, I've been spotting at Crewe for over 40 years and the only thing scary about the place is the cost of the sandwiches and coffee sold by a couple of the station's vendors. Although WHSmiths used to sell coffee for £1 a cup, maybe gone up a bit now with the cost of living crisis ;-)
The super natural investigator found something and now has an annual contract with them. I don't see how that could possibly be a conflict of interest..
The wail sounds like a change in air pressure from the elevator shaft or whatever it’s connected to. Some Supernatural Spelunkers™ should explore it and find out where the tunnel goes.
For some one that has worked on Crewe station, doing 1800 to 0600 in the morning, all I will say is that it’s very cold in winter.the station stands north/south.
That howl made my blood run cold, shaking my heart which I felt skip a beat! Imagine hearing it at 3 AM... Not to mention, I clicked on this video just before midnight.
If you enter from the east entrance to the station and head through the tunnel theres a set of double doors at the end that are staff only which lead off into the distance. I assume they are just for workers to more easily get around but correct me if im wrong.
Why do I see someone created this for Henry after he rebuild at Crewe where he only told Edward about the haunting of Crewe just for spooks for Halloween ?
The thing actually stopped howling when one of the men went to investigate further. Not sure why you didn't include that part as it was the scariest! This channel covers this with a longer video. It's story #4 on: th-cam.com/video/jGdl1PIMIpw/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=BizarreBub

Bro what are you on about... i litterly live in crewe and have used crewe station alot and have not heard a single thing. And coincidencently none of those events happened with no one else around seems fake tbh
Genuinely, there are tunnels under Crewe station with rail track which are used mostly for freight trains. So the sound of the "cow" if listen again, is a train.
0:35 I fail to see how that's any different from a normal cat.
i had the same thought 🤣

as someone who's been to crewe station regularly it does have a slightly creepy energy to it no matter where you go.

Crewe is also where NWR no.3 "Henry" was rebuilt after a wreck in the 1920's
No, Henry was rebuilt in 1935!
The super natural investigator found something and now has an annual contract with them. I don't see how that could possibly be a conflict of interest..
sure its all completely above board and legit.

No original henry
Crewe wasn't served by the LNER though XD
@@Benji_transport_vids I think that’s the joke
The creepiest thing is being in Crewe. The Howl is an echo of the trains though.
The wail sounds like a change in air pressure from the elevator shaft or whatever it’s connected to. Some Supernatural Spelunkers™ should explore it and find out where the tunnel goes.
I used to go train spotting as a kid, jump on the train and go to Crewe or Shrewsbury. I think out of the two Shrewsbury is far more creepy.

As a car enthusiast, hearing that there were lots of ghosts and phantoms stories in Crewe rings different.
Crewe isn’t just a fine place for sick engines……
💀
It's a nightmare for everyone else.
It's no longer a place for sick engines, Crewe Works was knocked down 2 to 3 years ago :(
A sense of dread and not for the faint of heart, that ain't ghosts, that's just crewe
Maybe it’s Henry 1.0 crying out to the Fat Controller

henry aint coming back to crewe again
He ded there
"The phantom cat that appears and disappears seemingly of it own accord" sounds like a regular living cat to me cute little buggers that they are.
“Crewe a fine place for sick engines”
The best thing about Crewe is the right away indicators at the end of the platforms . Any direction will do but preferably south.
“I’m sending you to crewe”
“I dont wanna to there’s a bunch of ghosts”
0:36 Wait, their FOOTSTEPS just appear, not the children themselves? JUST their footsteps like one of Blue's pawprints?

Henry was never seen again
Edit* 1:05 what the actual f**k never actually heard it before
I doubt Henry enjoyed having his overhaul at Crewe when there’s ghosts about…
That it can be descerned by the mic proves whatever causes the sound has a physical presence but, does that mean its physically there?
Boy, no wonder Henry was glad to come home from Crewe.
I can confirm that the tunnel under the lines are haunted I have seen it first hand
I never knew one of my local (ish) stations was that haunted..
Did anyone happen to see a rouge GNR Prototype running around?
I’ve never actually stopped in crewe on my way to Manchester, but now i’d be too scared to
great ghost Story 👍👻😮
There are stories of places being haunted by all sorts of ghosts. But a train station being haunted by a ghost cow is new.
They don't call it a Ghost Town for no reason. The Town Centre is completely empty, and now there are rumours that it's haunted.
Maybe that’s the reason why they rebuild their engines on Sodor from now on
I suspect the lifts were for transferring luggage and goods between platforms…
This pop up when I was waiting for train at crewe .....
Well the coincidence
