When I first encountered this I was using a camel, we had just finished fighting some husk crawlers and I set the autopilot on while we finished repairs and adminstering the cures. We got hit by something big so I got on a gun and saw this ABYSSAL CREATURE OUTSIDE MY TINY LITTLE SUB. Went in with 7 crew, and by some streak of luck, managed to come out with two. One died of husk, a couple drowned, a couple bled out. Three of the bodies were recovered. The two survivors were the captain (who I was playing as) and a random assistant somehow. Recovered the body of the medic, engineer, and another assistant. As for the two mechanics, one had the husk infection and got obliterated by my coilgun, and the other just completely disappeared. The only reason anyone survived at all was because we got it to half health and it decided to leave. We were at the bottom for like 15 minutes because neither the captain or assistant had any electrical or mechanical skills lol. Anyways, I never played on that file again. I like to think the two retired afterwards.
No abyssal creators or what I like to call them, leviathans do not drop any loot. They do give you money only when you have a hunting mission. Otherwise avoid at all cost.
@@btheavytank8327for many players, killing 1 abyssal creature is easier than going through an entire level. So it's common to go into the Abyss, kill them, and then drive underneath the level to get to the end

me and my freinds encountered this it dragged us to crush depth slowly and when we abandoned ship it picked us off one by one. Absolutely terrifying

how come you see the entire interior of the ship at all times? and the ship itself when shooting? a mod?
settings - line of sight effects - none. I started a game with that option
