Hi Priya, Thanks for the information. I am senior quality engineer with 10years of experience in IT. I have one query regarding h1b cap exempt visa. If I get selected by any of the higher education institutions ( which has IT infrastructure team)then will they provide h1b visa cap exempt for me. ( as per 2024 guidelines,I heard that only h1b workers with limitations who stays in US can apply and people outside US who never served H1b can’t apply.) . Please assist me here. Thanks

Yes. But you need a job to apply for CPT and you'll have to move to F1 to be eligible for CPT
