Ichecheck mo po lahat ng possible failure, and from each failure, kukunin mo po yung strength nila at doon ka po mamimili ng design or allowable strength. (Sorry for the very late reply as we are too busy finishing our thesis in master's. Thank you for understanding and God bless you!)
What do you mean straight rupture po? Vertically? Then that's not block shear failure po. Ang topic po kasi dito ay Block Shear Failure. (Sorry for the very late reply. Tinatapos lang yung Thesis namin sa Masteral. Hoping this year, maging okay na lahat.
Pero based sa NSCP, that would be additional 4mm kung bolt diameter ang given or 2mm kapag hole diameter ang given. (Sorry for the very, very late reply as CE Box is very busy with his Master's Degree, Accreditation, Work Stuff, and Life. Thank you for understanding. Keep in touch with CE Box as we plan to do more video tutorials.)
Hello po saan po pipili ng design strength, magbabase lang po ba sa yielding at failure or pipili ka sa yielding, failure at block shear?

Pn=483.43kN po considering straight rupture... which is less than 490kN... making the straight rupture the governing Pn

Hello Po sir. Kung design tensile strength Po Yung hinahanap. Mag so solve po ulit Ng Pn?
Sinolve po namin dito yung Design Strength.
Good day sir, what if mas maliit yung value ng 0.60FuAnv kesa 0.60FyAgv? eto po ba gagamitin natin na force sa shear sa pagkuha ng Pn? Thank you po
Alway choose the smaller value, since strength ang kinukuha natin, mas safe ang member if smallest strength ang pipiliin.

Good day sir! ask lg po ako yung effect Dia. akala ko 20mm+2=22mm lg ?

sa amin po e kapag
db
yung sa Pn, hindi po ba 207.56KN?
tama lang, nnadivide na kasi sa 1000 yung 282
@MARK BRIAN ESPARRAGO Thank you po for clarifying his concern po! God bless po!
