The way 007 series and Aston Martin are involved is itself an exemplary I kinda feel that James bond evolved with the choice of cars from Db 5 to Dbs superleggera it really shows the how a character moves from moment to moment, take a bow Aston Martin you guys always amaze me with your engineering. Screw the DB5, forget the DB10, the Daniel Craig DBS is a treasure but the ultimate Aston for me is the Timothy Dalton V8 Vantage! So brutally beautiful yet stunningly simple. God how I wish I could have one!
I truly agree the Aston Martin cars are real characters in the Craig films, which frankly hadn't happened since the Goldfinger. The low point was the era when BMWs were used which didn't have any ties to the Bond character or story. This made the use of the BMWs nothing more than gratuitous product placement.
No car will top the DB5 , but in Spectre I think Jaguar upstaged the DB10 with that CX75. Nothing will ever be better than the DB5,but I really liked that DBS in Casino Royale & Quantum of Solace. It was too bad we didn't see more of that one.
During my teenage i used to play NFS most wanted on my pc ,my favorite car in the game was a DB9 and used to play oo7 theme tune in the background 😅😂 and play.
To be as QUINTESSENTIALLY BRITISH as beans and toast for breakfast We need an Alfa Romeo in At least one chase scene (drivin by a baddie) and the Alfa breaks down on its own accord and as a result crashes into a Tesco while the “next bond” scampers off unscathed (insert dry humour following crash) so we can poke at the Italians just for a giggle
I purchased my 2011 DB9 brand new. Color is Lightning Silver. I love my DB9 more than the DBS. Remember, the ONLY James Bond 007 was Sean Connery and he is no longer with us.
The directors of the 007 movies, if you love Aston Martin, don't put 8 guys in two unreliable cars chasing Bond. And yet Bond cannot lose them in an Aston Martin. LOL
I thought the opening sequences withthe DB5 were very good and settled down to watch a good movie but was a little concerned about the nod to OHMSS and couldnt understand how Bond found a DBS under a blanket did he own it ?? does Bond have 2 classic AM's ? but then the film got mind numbingly protracted and basicly a re write of Lazenby's film . What was the point of the girl doing the martial arts ?? If time hadnt ran out at 2 1/2 hours , I would have done . A poor ending for the worlds most iconic spy and I dont intend watching another Bond film at the cinema although I eagerly await another Jason Bourne or a "Taken" . Sorry Bond but your sell by date has come and gone .

it's the 2019+ vantage. Just go to a dealership. Face is a bit squinty/mazda miata so they redesigned it this year on the refresh. Now it looks great.

The Aston Martin V8 looks exactly the same as the car from "Living Daylights" but it is missing a small detail of having a GB plate at the rear.
