Hey Xylo this is a great video - really informative. I have a Launchpad Mk2 which has developed a fault and needs replacing. Novation said they can't replace it as they don't have any Mk 2 models but they can swap it for an X. I use Ableton 9 on a 2012 mbp and have read that the X only really works with Live 10 and above as there is reduced functionality with Live 9. All the features you show with the mixer and panning etc are really cool but I'm really only interested in launching scenes and triggering clips. Does anybody know if these basic functions are possible in Live 9 with a Launchpad X? Thanks.
Hey, really thanks for your work! I was wandering if you could help me with a trouble on launchpad X: I activated the "Legacy" mode (with the purple button) and now my Session button is disabled. Do you know a way to turn launchpad X to its normal mode and functionality?

Hmmm so most plugins you buy off of their specific site. Like just Google Electra X or Google RC 20 color, which is the effect VST I just bought.
