The sports festival isn’t a thing anymore, after the war had students in it and the fighting of students was altered to be not so severe, it’s now a small battle purely to show progress of their quirk and skills x which is not televised And all previous and old sports festivals have been either erased or kept hidden from the public entirely.

Im curious about something, was there any meaning behind deku's mention of kyouka? Im a huge izujiro fan and if it had any meaning im happy, I only mentioned this due to how it showed all of his class but he only mentioned kyouka.

The rest of the class still does except for Izuku.
They all miss Izuku and definitely Remember him. He’s the only one from Class A In that school.
