I saw The minimalists yesterday on Netflix and they said we use 20 % of our things 80 % of the time - the opposite of what you said? I have watched your videos for a month now. I have started to declutter my wardrobe after my second pregnancy and many of my clothes does not fit anymore - but I keep some just in case I might lose more weight or my hip go back to normal again. But that will not happen. So I am watching this video again to remind myself and be more motivated. So far I got rid of 72 items of clothing. I still have 200 items in my wardrobe 🫢
I read a short mindfulness book called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels and I remember an exercise about decluttering. It was so refreshing after I cleaned my place. It was very meditative.
Great questions ! I would like to suggest one more: if I didn’t have this item, what would I do ? For example if I got rid of this shirt, what top would I wear with those pants ? Or if I got rid of this pot, how would I cook veggies for dinner etc. I find this helps me think of other options and I can make decisions about what to keep and what to remove a little easier.

Your videos are really helpful thank you. I get overwhelmed very easily by stuff and the process of deciding what to let go. I'm subscribing!❤

Hi. I am new here. I wanted to ask what is the color pain in your sons room?? Is it the same all around your house ? Please let me know
The house we lived in here was a rental, so I’m not sure of the wall colours. Thank you for watching 🤗
Excellent video - you've got yourself a new subscriber! Those 'just in case' items can be pesky haha
So true. Thank you for watching 😊
@@madelinehegedus Of course! :)
Emergency items like first aid kit, torches in case of a blackout, power banks are important just in case items to keep. 😊
Absolutely, keep anything that's useful to you. 💛
