Coconut Brick Studio's has climbed his way to my top spot of moc builders! I love that he shows us techniques like this, his various builds, displays, etc and is engaging with the community. Love his lil tid bit vids of $5, $50, or $100 builds or 10 min, 30 min 1 hr etc. It's great stuff all around and as of late my go to for reference and ideas for my own moc.
Thanks I appreciate that! I am working really hard to establish this channel as the place to go for mocs/tips and tutorials but I do enjoy the challenge vids as well.
@Coconut Bricks Studios dude your a killing it! Keep it up man I've referenced your videos quite a bit for my Geonosis moc. Keep the working coming and the fans will too!
I just wanted to say that your videos inspired me to make my own moc with the new 501st battle pack I got, and this video helped a ton to improve my next mocs
Awesome ideas! When I am sorting and putting parts away, I am constantly looking at their shapes and think of new ways of using them. I like experimenting and often come up with new ideas to try. My daughter and I are to the point, when we look at something in real life, we think how can we build it out of Lego. When you get yourself in that mindset, and let your creativity run wild, you never know what you will come up with! I will be using the net idea! Thanks for sharing!
Good stuff, I recognize about half of those techniques! For feedback, it might be good to put time stamps, or whatever it’s called, on the video so people can quickly get to the section of this video they want for a technique.
So many moc tip videos are aimed at location/Set builds. It would be nice to see some love aimed at creature/mech builds. It's especially the torsos and hands I struggle with
I really like your ideas because I am having a durn out of ideas for my Star Wars Mocs and you tips are really helpful thank you so much you are the best you are number 1 you are number 1 you are number 1
Hey man, newbie to Lego MOC building here. I have a ton of those nexo shield plates you used for floor tiling on your wall demo. Any tips on good ways to use them? I tried tiling floors with them but always end up with weird shaped gaps. Thanks mate.
Nice ! O' captain my captain ? Looking for insight here. I want to create the hull for an 18th century sailing ship (i.e. without the hull mold), how would you do the stern part ?
I am new to learning how to build mocs, so I may be wrong with the little knowledge I have. That being said, the ball joint chain with the technic pin, would that be considered an illegal technique since the pin wouldn't be able to seat correctly and be under constant stress?
I have been trying to find a proper tutorial for building military bunkers (like the ones in WW2), but couldn’t find any good instructions on to how to make it
"In my opinion, connecting plates via hinges is not a 'technique.' A technique involves connecting two elements in an extraordinary way, not just building a part of a model." "I’m looking for really good techniques, and what this video offered was absolutely useless to me. Connecting square blocks via ball joints is something I could have figured out on my own."
I've never seen or heard of any of your content before but I started this video and was immediately hit by the edited in clip where you are illustrating bad vibes being killed by 2023.... By showing an animal (fictitous) mauling another in an arena....some wierd good vibes...your an odd creature
Great ideas! I especially like the round building technique with the bars and clips. Lots of possibilities there!
Definitely, you can build just about any round thing with that.

Love to hear it! Hope the moc turned out well.
I like your use of the LEGO dimensions base in the thrusters of the acclamator.
Thanks such a good piece for engines.
Personally I like the technique with the net it’s cool how you can made great battle damage and from a previous video you can made good nets
Thanks, hoping to be able to use that more in the future. The net is just a Lego net.
Great techniques! Definitely might use the brick wall technique in a future moc!
Dew it!

Mmm ya time stamps are a good idea how you are doing well!

Well there's really only one reason for that and it's because I am terrible at that kind of stuff haha, maybe once I get better I will make one.
@@coconutbricksstudios I can understand that. I'm just a little annoyed at nobody having them
The round building technique is very good and helpfull. I used this technique to build a tree trunk.
Nice! Hope it works well.

Contrast of color - ablack plate beneth a grill tile of different color.
