I love the Maw of yeenoghu, it looks terrifying and for $7 on the after market it is well worth the price.

Bugbears were called "giant goblins" in the original AD&D Monster Manual. They were playing fast and loose with the word "giant".

The Skytower Goliath is based on art from Icewind Dale - Rime of the Frostmaiden. There is a Goliath enclave called Skytower in that adventure.

I probably should have done more research lol

Nice review, good camera work! :) Good that someone else too noticed the repainted Warband minis. I think since all the Huge slots were taken by the new Giants, Wizkids simply had not enough ideas what to fill the Medium slots with - I mean, many of the Goliaths in this set are just based on the unused illustrations from the end of the Bigby's book too. The creatures you mention like Ettin Ceremorph and Echo of Demogorgon are all Large, and those slots were taken by the Uncommon Giants. (But, we are getting some of them in the Phandelver set next).

That's probably the case tbh. And I'm happy they will continue releasing creatures from Bigby's in future sets! I'm excited to do a video on them too! Thanks for all your feedback and comments!! I really appreciate it!!

@@ClubKobold You are welcome! I welcome you to check out Minisgallery where we have a pretty large miniature collector community, I posted your review there too. You can check the forum for mini release news too, I for one, am mostly looking forward to the Planescape set - that setting has been my favourite since I played Planescape Torment during university. :)

I think the Goliath Trickster is meant to be emulating a Cloud Giant Smiling One (from Volo's Guide to Monsters), who are said to be tricksters and employ masks (and annoyingly, still do not have a miniature). Just my guess based on the mask.
Cool stuff about the Giant Lynx pelt change ability, I assumed it was just a trick by Wizkids to make us buy the more normal looking Lynx with the Limited Edition set, heh!

The Cloud Giant Smiling one completely slipped my mind! Thanks for pointing that out!!

@@ClubKobold No problem! I hope we can get that Giant as mini someday too, these guys would be great as his courtiers.

Nah, they did not downscale the Orog and the Bugbear for this set. They are identical to the Warband releases which are the same size. The Orog is actually the same sculpt as the Snowbound Orog Ranger, which they shrunk for some reason in the Warband too, no idea why. The Bugbears though are the same as before, it is the guy in the MotM set who is way too big. Same way as how the F&T Lizardfolk is oversized compared to all others.

Oh! By downscaling I didn't mean they were downscaled from the original warband set, more so the warband set itself was a downscale from other versions we got in the past like in the Monster Menagerie sets where Orogs and Bugbears were features and noticeably larger. I guess I wasn't so much dissing the repaints, but more so the warband itself lol

I believe they had to fill spaces because quite a bit of the art in the books have to be redone because of the person who finished the art used ai to do
