People need to keep in mind that the employees, paper, electricity, ink, shipping, ect. All costs money- so it would be impossible for everyone to go “positive” on every pack opening.
You get the cards you paid for, with a chance of finding something extra rare- the extra money goes towards keeping the business afloat which is completely fair. The after market resell prices are different stories tho, but fresh off the press they’ll be priced fairly.
(Only said this due to a growing number of people being upset with prices and calling it a “scam”)

Pricecharting is wrong quite often for ungraded cards. We usually go by tcgplayer

14 packs opened today pulled one 10$ arceus Vstar. An entire ETB only ended up with less than 10 non duplicates. It’s the way it goes. Couple days ago bought 5 2 pack KO collection with fusion and evolving and pulled about 250$ in cards and spent 60$

I grabbed one at Walmart, usually I buy a lot but that day I said let’s just buy this one tin. Opened it in the parking lot to see what packs it had, 2 Silver tempest & 1 brilliant starts. I was kinda disappointed, got home and said to myself “let’s just get these packs out the way, the only thing I can pull is the Lugia and that’s not happening” first pack in and BOOM Lugia V alt art

I like how you put the prices with the cards, but the prices themselves I take issue with. Like a ariados from lost origin, 16 cents, or a ducklett, 6 cents. Like are they worth that, sure. But how many people out there have them listed, and how many times have they been purchased. Who's buying fodder from a recent modern set. Sought after sets maybe, or older wotc sets sure people may buy fodder to complete a set.

Opted to buy a BS ETB and the last 5 pack shiny shining fates box I hadn’t gotten yet, 14 packs of cards…..one fucn pull. Granted it was at least a 10$ arceus Vstar, but damn that hurt. I’ve been just buying stores I know sell boxes with evolving skies packs going 4-5$ a pop buying em, selling some to break even regardless, and getting hits. Rayqueza Vmax, Vaporeon Vmax, umbreon V, espeon V, and the sylveon V alt art that’s going for about 70-90$ in I’d say less than 20 packs. I hate evolving too, I call it evolving lies.

For price on ungraded cards use tcg player it has more accurate prices since price charting combines all quality of cards (mint, nm, lp, hp, dmg) into one price

Did they change the card outline? On the packs i got online it had to yellow outline you see in the video. But, when i bought it from the store the outline was grey ish but when i got the cards online it was 2 years ago why is that
