@@redpandaplush5980 I think a better way to put it is: The Simpsons is a comedy primarily while Danganronpa is meant to be taken much more seriously as a thriller/drama/mystery, yet both deaths are pretty much equally silly.

Cuz it's anime cringe. How does doing the globe of death really fast turn a guy into packaged butter? At least we know that the woman was turned into cat food died in a machine that sliced diced and chopped her into those tiny cans. You know something that's actually understandable and would actually be a terrible way to die.
There's a big difference between Mondo being made butter, and the woman being turned into dog food because a shit poly dog farted on you for 30 seconds

Coney calling Zero Escape Danganrompa made my day. as someone who loves these games i cannot imagine the mind of a chatter who thought it was a good idea to show these as "worst way to die" knowing Coney doesn't enjoy those games at all. if i were to pick one death from ZTD it would be Sigma pressing the "DO NOT PRESS" Button, and launching a nuke that blows everyone up, as that is funny as shit.

@@bobjones9385why? The three main games are pretty good. The caracters are fun, the cases are pretty well written and the game is funny. The game is not perfect, there is some issues in the wirting sometimes but overall the games are good, weird and obviously not for everyone but good. The spin off aren’t as good but it’s not really bad and the animes are utter trash but so horrible that it can get funny sometimes (I really put an emphasis on sometimes.) I would like to know why you say that because critisisim is important (and also because i’m writing my own fan version of danganronpa and if I can improve my story by avoiding the mistake danganronpa made it would be cool) hope you awnser and if you read all this i wish you a good day whoever you are.
Edit : and there is really some problematic stuff but it’s really the anime who made it worse especially in the racism part because in the game the black characters are all good (aoi, sakura,yasuhiro kinda,angie and akane) and i don’t understand why some people says it’s transphobic because chihiro isn’t trans, he just crossdresses which is totally different.

Fun fact about Zero Time Dilemma (the game at 10:30): some endings have RNG incorporated, and if you want to see them all you have to retry some several times if you don't get them at first try. It's pretty bad.

For anyone who doesnt know, this isnt a "mind-control". Harakiri is an old alternative to Fatality that the LOSING player inputs themselves. Basically as a way to avoid worse Fatalities, or skip the clown show of teabagging at the speed of mach 17.

I don't think i can ever understand hating anime. Even for someone as old as Coney with shows like Voltron or Speed Racer which are anime and are genuinely loved. I grew up with the stuff so maybe it's just different

My "favorite" is MK11 Kronika. You'll gonna die a lot on the final boss, it's a given. But she squishes Robocop for example, reverses time, does it 2 more times differently, and repeats from first animation. And it's like, long before you can restart the fight.
