So I noticed you had used the words good enough to explain how well the engine is just a though try to use more stand out words really sell it to the your viewers just a idea but all in all a very nice review of the vehicle I'm a huge fan of the ct5 Cadillacs
Best car I've ever owned. I know that the 2025 dash is terrific, but the 2024 dash is really fantastic. The ride, handling, and power are all great. Build quality is superb.
I have a 24 as well and the dash is perfect to me. Yes, the full wrap dash is cool but in the end if you wait the 26 will be even better or maybe the 27. Personally I don’t like the 25 refresh front end.
@@raynavarra brother cars don’t undergo full interior/exterior design transformations every year. Every 5 years AT BEST. I have an Alfa Guilia which has had virtually the same cockpit and exterior since it released in 2016. Another example is the Audi A5 which has had the same interior from 2017 to 2024. You literally bought the car the year before it was going through its major design upgrade. Not trying to harp on you but that just seems extremely silly to me- I mean the last time the CTV was updated was in 2019 which will make it exactly 6 years since the new cockpit. Your brand new 2024 car is priced like a brand new 2024 car but is practically identical to a 2019 car and that doesn’t bother you?
@@emperormouse5487oh I understand completely how it works. Unfortunately I’m am an old guy now. But have owner well north of 100 cars and at least 15 motorcycles in my life. What I have learned for myself, is you have to be happy with the choices you make. I bought the CT5 V and saw the the 2025 too as well. I still chose the 24 because it fit me perfectly. Yes the new dash is cool but I’m fine with what a chose if I wasn’t, I wouldn’t have bought it. I get there are those who wanted the latest stuff but it comes fast enough. I’m not disappointed in the least with my choice. If you choose the 25. I say I’m happy for you. Everyone should spend their money the way they want too. I know I did.
Thanks for the detailed review. I subscribed. I forgot all about this car and then I remembered about the Chevy SS... so I thought, what current model is a spiritual successor with similar performance? The CT5 V Sport!
Great, comprehensive review! Your tester looks like it's equipped with Pirelli winter tires. You have to re-test with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S that are standard. I know because I have 2024 CT5-V and I'm loving it. It gets better with each subsequent drive. There's always more to learn when you push the "V" closer to the limit. I have the 2-tone black and whisper beige interior leather, much better looking than the monotonous black interior. IMHO. I also do not have the sun roof and don't miss it. The "V" is really surprisingly quick and the dual mode exhaust really comes alive, snarling and popping like an angry water buffalo in Track mode.
Absolutely love the vehicle, if I had the money I would seriously consider purchasing one. I could only imagine how it is on the summer tires, I’ll have to ask Cadillac to send a tester when the weather improves! Stay tuned for my POV drive video tomorrow! You won’t want to miss it
Finally, someone reviewing this vehicle and giving us a look at the different dash mode configurations. You even demonstrated the camera mirror. I hope the new 2025 dash does not disappoint. You pointed out it should have a way to dim it I hope. Video screeens are at night. I believe you stated you can turn off the piped in sound as well. That may come in handy when the mufflers are modified. I can see a lot of potential to boost the 360 hp if someone comes out with a decent cold air induction system as well. Now if they could trully make it a hatch back like the Audi S7 it would be a dream made in heaven. 🤩💫 5 Flame review🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yes you can turn off the exhaust sound with the V mode configuration! The new curved screen is gorgeous though I just drove a 2024 XT4 with it and I found it annoying to use due to the steering wheel blocking my view regardless of how I moved it
Nice review. I have to agree with your assessment - I have a 2023 CT5-V with Platinum trim and it's easily the best value in its class and gives up very little to its competitors. Subscribed.
I did 4.2seconds and I have it on video to prove it. You HAVE to be in track mode or a good V mode configuration and have PTM in Race 1 to get a proper launch. That’s the only way and it’s epic, I did the run like 6 times and kept getting 4.5,4.3 and 4.2
Why the didn't stuff the 3.6 liter in it that made 420hp..but the 3.0 liter is better smaller displacement and a better body frame and shorter than the previous cts v series..I guess..
It's a camaro in a tuxedo! I hv a 2023 put 20x10 fronts with 275 35 20 20x11 rears wrapped in 305 30 20 rims ferradas cm2's beautiful aggressive stance!

Bro, I love this car and your review is 🔥🔥 love it
Great review, I just bought a 2024 CT5 V today and didn't get a chance to have the super cruise demonstrated to me. Thanks for such an awesome review.
how do you like it so far im planning on getting one soon
Great review. My CT5 V 2025 is Typhoon and scheduled to go into build 10/14 -10/20. Swapping the current wheels for the blackwing wheels. can't wait

Gotta love how they hide the lauch control. It should be right in V mode and track mode and easy to start.
Very true

Excellent review. The indexed transcript is a real bonus. How did you get 4.2 seconds 0-60? Did you short shift using the paddles?
I believe I left it in auto mode! And made sure the PTM was on in Race 1 mode. I’ll be posting the 0-60 video soon with those results!
I wonder if you can remove the rear head rest for better visibility. ?
This car looks amazing, are the lights on the steering wheel ALWAYS blinking? What does the blinking mean
It’s Cadillac super cruise. You can’t see the lights in person with your eyes. It only appears on camera.
Waiting for the 25 model.. I already put some USDT to side 🤷🏽♂️
Understandable
Well save another 25k or more..the Seville is on its way in a year or 2..
Im either coming home with one of these sweethearts or a CT4-V Blackwing with roughly 6k miles. We shall see soon!
Reviewing a CT4 BW at the end of the month, stay tuned
i really dont like the flashing lights on the steering wheel...
You can’t see them with your eyes. They only are visible on the camera. It’s infrared light.
@@AllcarnewsGlad you explained that. That woulda been a show stopper for me.
Bro please tell me 0-60 is really under 4.4 seconds. I’ve seen videos people not even hitting it under 5 seconds.

What are those distracting goofy lights on the steering wheel? It will get me killed.

I’m curious if you’ve had any rubbing issues with that setup. Thinking of doing a similar setup!
