Context for Southern victory: the CSA made a push into washington D.C with support from france and the UK, basically destroying the Unions will to fight, later Mexico is struggling and sells 2 northern states to the CSA and the US gets mad and starts the 2nd mexican american war but lose. As WW1 starts, the US aligned with the central powers and the CSA with the French and British but they lose and the US annex Canada and parts of the CSA. I'm pretty sure this is where the mod starts. (P.S the US was too broke to buy Alaska that's why it's still Russian)

That's a thing I really wanted. An alternate universe where CSA was still a thing. With the USA conquering Canada and unify the North while the CSA trying to conquer South America... but ending up into a kind of "Vietnam War" in Colombia or better in Venezuela. But this only after WW1 and WW2 where CSA joins from the start the war by the side of tzarist Russia against Germany and Austria (and also with the Italians). Then fighting in the Russian Civil War against communism, while the USA forged an alliance of their own that later gathered also Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, France, etc. UK remains isolated. Confederates became more and more involved in wars against communists while Unionists continue in their neutrality. Japan joins CSA and start focusing Russian commies (Russia Civil War continues thanks the efforts of the Confederates) so the WW2 is basically a war between CSA and Allies and Nazi Germany and the Commies. (3 sides). Cold War seen Confederates backed white Russia vs Nazi Germany now extended to much of the continent.
No this is clearly based off a book I heard about. Jake featherston is in that book. Alternate history hub made some videos on the book I'm talking about.
