Evening Lads, thanks for the very enjoyable tour and capabilities of this great tractor, what made it especially memorable was seeing the dealer logo's from Collings Brothers of Abbottsley, going back a number of years when my Gran was alive and working, she worked a couple of days a week at the house of Mr & Mrs Collings when they were living in Eltisley, not far from George's neck of the woods. STAY SAFE.
Great looking machine. I ran DX90 and yes it was a 5 cylinder and had outboard rear disc brakes. Never went wrong and was replaced with a DX4.50 which was my first 40k tractor.
I've always held Magirus-Deutz-Fahr high, just as the BM/Volvo/Valmet/Valtra. There is no Make-up over them. They do what you tell them to do. You can always put eyelashes and lipstick on a pig - but it get not better in any way! Very nicely and funny done review guys and thank you Liz for holding the reins short on them!
That older deutz, next to the 7250, in my mind looks like something that is from Eastern Europe. In my mind, just looks so old and soviet, next to the modern machine, we take from granted these days, and don't bat an eye at. Unless we're stuck behind one! Love this channel. You kept quiet about this!
The deutz engine is very reliable. Bobcat fitted the 2 cylinder 411 and 511 engines in the skid steers in the late 70’s and all the way through the 80’s. You could run them out of oil and seize it, let them cool down and re fill them with oil and it would start and run as if nothing had happened. The oil cooled ones that were fitted in the skid steers in the late 90’s were very poor unfortunately and would eat a head gasket just about every 2000 hours.
Awesome machine indeed!,Spent a few hours on the smaller green DX’s back in 90s. Agree with mucka would love to drive one for the day just for pleasure!. Great video as usual! 👍
Great vid and what a tool, nice to see the old girl out on the road. I always remember being able to leave most other brands behind with the Deutz having the 40k box before most
What a machine Gents! Looks like you had a lot of fun making this video. Did I hear a bit of group B Audi quattro blow of valve going through that tunnel?? Editing is spot on again👌and I was really impressed by the gas spring rad/intercooler gadget. Keep up the great content 👍
Hi guys, just bought an agritron with front suspension , a workshop guy told me make sure the splined drive shaft is well greased or could seize up and damage gearbox. Avoided buying one before because of high cab and high seating position for steep slope work and shed work. Great video again 👍
Its a mighty fine tractor that's for sure, even though deutz were never into frills or comfy interiors, they were allways a handsome yoke to look at and listen to, well done it was very well put together lads.
very impressed by the outboard disc brakes i'm sure won't take much to fit them on the rear like a fasttrac and the separate hydraulic tank is a massive plus. only niggle i noticed was losing a spool for the front linkage/pick up hitch?? these days on a machine like that is a no no. the question to George is will a Deutz be replacing the older T7 when the time comes?
Love the deutz. I lived in a village one farmer had ford. The other farm t s Steven’s a contractor had the dx 90. I loved watching the German machines. I am from Somerset. So most of the tractors were zetors or Nuffield. Deutz were bees knees. This new tractor the styling looks amazing.
Would love to have one for a week in the summertime to put through the paces. Big tractors are and have always been ugly; TW35, MF3690, John Deere 4755 etc. And modern ones; 7R John Deere, 9 Series Fendt, T8 New Holland. This tractor is fantastic looking and looks like a premium product from outside. The only thing letting it down are the ugly Mitas tyres. Imagine what a lift a set of Michelin, Trelleborg or BKT tyres would give it. Great to see them still using Dromone pick up hitches after all these years. Fantastic looking tractor. Great review boys, this channel's fast becoming a favourite of mine
Feck the tractor, just give me launch control 🤣🤣. Always had a soft spot for the old deutz tractors. The German stuff always seemed to be well build and built for work. Operator comfort wasn’t always prioritiesed but was usually above the competition.
Great vid can’t beat the old Deutz Fahr. They just look the part and preform well. There such an understatement brand everyone just wants Fendt but Fendt use the Deutz engine and exhaust system and properly some other parts
Deutz always seemed to be an intelligent choice back in the day, although I remember the parts could be expensive. Might be a good topic for your pod cast - are all modern tractors pretty good these days, or which ones are not worth paying a premium for.
🤣😂 If only ! People have no idea how much it costs us to produce these videos ! Some companies are now realising that and are happy to cover costs and travel etc.
Another Great Video by you two....The last shots as LM hits his head after a small pothole then the Transformer Towering over the little Green Tractor was funny.... Launch Control what ever next 😆 🤣 😂, LM saying not using that as I might meet the hedge😆😆😆👍👍👍👍👍12/10 as normal.
Love the new deutz so so much she’s such a nice tractor as good as any Massey new Holland very underrated we have a smaller one and she’s mint like the one ye were in great video 👌
I wonder if they will bring outboard rear brakes on tractors to bring them closer to putting a test on them. They would need to be forward control to have a steering rack though. Good video! 👍
Great review guys 👍 only experience I ever had with a deutz was back in the black an white days can't remember the model no but it had outboard rear brakes and couldn't keep it in pads 🙄😳
great videos always the deutz warrior is a tasty looking tractor the front face of the tractor reminds me of a transformer best of Germany and over over engineered which is not a bad thing
Seems tractor manufactures are finally catching up with the JCB Fastrac ,by adding features that Fastrac drivers have been used to for over 30 years ,60k + ,proper brakes on all 4 wheels ,larger cabs ,better handing on the road etc .Even down to the airline connector on the side !
I drive a 07 Deutz and prefer it to my own newer tractor for some reason.Deutz was popular here in Ireland but has lost dealers because of lac of support from Deutz as we don’t have a Irish importer anymore. When our local dealer changed from Deutz the last few tractors they sold needed transmission work done by the new dealer under warranty in 2019
I stil run a 1980 DX130A as my main tractor it plants with a 12 row and cultivates and sprays and plants wheat and mows stubble and if the MF 4880 goes down it works ground 25 ft field cultivator and ripps up ground in the fall with a 5 shank ripper on 1,500 acres
Hi from durham guys👋 great episode today lol could imaging you guys tooling a gti off lights killing it and up to limit you can reach and gti gets pulled for speeding 😳😂 #doublewammy that be so funny #thatguybepissed👍 what a machine mate (""he said it"") lol thanks for your time guys be safe and see you soon 👍👍👋
Would be interested to know where you look for any spares for the Deutz; my impression is that they are VERY expensive (disclaimer; I own one so may need to use your advice at some time!)
As a MOT tester said "The older stuff there is less to go wrong when there are no electric/electronic in the way". - The modern stuff is fantastic until they start playing up. The older equipment is man and the machine not the man then computer then the machine, a frustrating expensive barrier.
Honestly I am CaseIH fan but Deutz Fahr 7250 would be my choice over our 215 Magnum especially 60km, front hitch, trailer braking n our local DF dealership I know well n been look after when we brought second hand McCormick for livestock tractor.
Like many German tractors very well though out machine, I wonder how you'd feel about a 660 claas arion very interesting to see how well the deutz designers have thought it out
Absolutely nailed it again lads and liz loved it. one question are you doing anything smaller than 200hp in that 100 to 180hp one thing I am due a upgrade 😃
Cracking machine deutz brakes on the argotons were always good were a wee bit heavier on the pedal tho .cool in black .they used to do a metallic darker than there normal green the looked the dogs bollocks . Put her to work it will impress you even more
I had hoped to see that beast attached to a suitable sized plough, only problem with that is that George would probably sell both kidneys and the TW25 in a heart beat.
First thing we look at is the overall set up of the machine and then operator comfort. If someone then thinks it may suit them then it's up to them to arrange a demo and put it to work.
Got a soft spot for the early 90’s Deutz tractors, looked great and were absolute beasts for size

The DX 90 was a 5 cylinder.
Yes I was pretty sure it was 👍
I miss our D68-06 4x4. Was a late 70's model, dark blue belly gray wheels.
Awesome machine indeed!,Spent a few hours on the smaller green DX’s back in 90s. Agree with mucka would love to drive one for the day just for pleasure!.

MultiSpeed.
Well spotted, I only noticed on the edit, but it sounds awesome 👌
The 150s was my favourite tractor 🚜🤙
Hi guys, just bought an agritron with front suspension , a workshop guy told me make sure the splined drive shaft is well greased or could seize up and damage gearbox.
Avoided buying one before because of high cab and high seating position for steep slope work and shed work.
Great video again 👍
I love the Dx's, Ireland was full of them one time, still a few around!!, great to see them, great video!!!
Got to be the two top tractor critics of the modern world right there!! Brilliant video Mucker and George.. what else can I say. Fenland Rob
Wow , that was amazing torqing point George and Lord Muck... my compliments for the good vid...
Brilliant video lads on the new Deutz tractor and comparing the older version . Both you are great putting it through its paces and testing it 🔩🚜👍
Its a mighty fine tractor that's for sure, even though deutz were never into frills or comfy interiors, they were allways a handsome yoke to look at and listen to, well done it was very well put together lads.
Good to see you are not blown away lads. Not keen on Deutz FAHR but that looked awesome doing the overtake!
very impressed by the outboard disc brakes i'm sure won't take much to fit them on the rear like a fasttrac and the separate hydraulic tank is a massive plus. only niggle i noticed was losing a spool for the front linkage/pick up hitch?? these days on a machine like that is a no no. the question to George is will a Deutz be replacing the older T7 when the time comes?
great vid guys love that launch control
Cracking video gents , what a beast of a tractor would like to see that up against some of the other manufacturers to see how it fairs .
I love the old one 💋❤🏴☠️
Hi I think the Deutz tractor is very underrated people should give it a go they will be very impressed
I used to love opening the front windscreen D 78
We had a Deutz DX130 back in the early 80s. It supplemented our MF 1155. We liked it because it was our first 4wd tractor and we had low land.
Mighty stuff People, lovely tractor, but that DX is a credit to Richard and His Family👌👍🙂
Would love to have one for a week in the summertime to put through the paces. Very Nice one That looks a good tractor Thanks again
What a machine, like you, said she carries off the colour well!
Worked a 4wd version of George's on a gravel cart and blade for a drainage contractor in the early 90's what a sound tractor 👌
I like the look of the Tractor and how it goes.a great bit of videoing thanks
Clarkson; So I went for a lamborghini
Me; Nah you went for a Deutz in white 😂
He will surely go for one of these now seeing as it has launch control! 🤣
Is that a set of Leyland weights on the little duetz I see before me.
Feck the tractor, just give me launch control 🤣🤣.
Always had a soft spot for the old deutz tractors. The German stuff always seemed to be well build and built for work. Operator comfort wasn’t always prioritiesed but was usually above the competition.
Great video. That tractor looks awesome
That deutz is sharp, as you say typically German ! Great review guys
Great video lads, for the first time ever I’d be interested in a deutz
Great video boys I had a Fent tool carrier In the 90s and that had a Deutz air cooled engine very smooth
Great vid can’t beat the old Deutz Fahr. They just look the part and preform well. There such an understatement brand everyone just wants Fendt but Fendt use the Deutz engine and exhaust system and properly some other parts
Great video, good to the old DX still going strong 👍
Driveing Deutz all my life always said they were the best
Deutz always seemed to be an intelligent choice back in the day, although I remember the parts could be expensive. Might be a good topic for your pod cast - are all modern tractors pretty good these days, or which ones are not worth paying a premium for.
Brilliant review - very entertaining. Superb tractor.
Great video lads , hope Deutz are paying you for your promotion efforts? Stay safe guys👍👍
🤣😂 If only ! People have no idea how much it costs us to produce these videos !
Some companies are now realising that and are happy to cover costs and travel etc.
Great vid lads and great unbiased review 👍 looks an awesome machine. Good filming and editing too 👏👏👏
Another Great Video by you two....The last shots as LM hits his head after a small pothole then the Transformer Towering over the little Green Tractor was funny.... Launch Control what ever next 😆 🤣 😂, LM saying not using that as I might meet the hedge😆😆😆👍👍👍👍👍12/10 as normal.
DX 85 was also a 5 cylinder.
Can't say I remember those.
Good video! 👍
That tractor looks like something beyond Star Wars Darth Vador.
That's amazing and good old Germans engineering
Great review guys 👍 only experience I ever had with a deutz was back in the black an white days can't remember the model no but it had outboard rear brakes and couldn't keep it in pads 🙄😳
Great review. Really enjoyed it . Keep up the good work guys. Parts comparison and prices would make for a great video. New holland vs Deutz Fahr.
great videos always the deutz warrior is a tasty looking tractor the front face of the tractor reminds me of a transformer best of Germany and over over engineered which is not a bad thing
Was my favourite Britain's model. Mine had dual wheels all round..😂. Why are air cooled engines not emission friendly over water cooled??
Seems tractor manufactures are finally catching up with the JCB Fastrac ,by adding features that Fastrac drivers have been used to for over 30 years ,60k + ,proper brakes on all 4 wheels ,larger cabs ,better handing on the road etc .Even down to the airline connector on the side !
It's taken JCB 30 years to get to that point...
It replaced a Leyland marshall 802 Y reg
Cheers Richard 👍
Quality lads 👍🏻

Don't see many deutz in Florida USA but that's a great looking machine.
The one thing everyone wants to know... how does the TTV compare to Fendt IVT?
Would be interested to know where you look for any spares for the Deutz; my impression is that they are VERY expensive (disclaimer; I own one so may need to use your advice at some time!)
I like the look of that ! Thanks for a good fun informative Film :)
great cab suspension I can see LM is not bouncing about on the dickie seat
Great tractor......I take one in green 😍
Built like a tank! Well german's knew how to build a tank!! Great review!
As a MOT tester said "The older stuff there is less to go wrong when there are no electric/electronic in the way". - The modern stuff is fantastic until they start playing up. The older equipment is man and the machine not the man then computer then the machine, a frustrating expensive barrier.
Such a cool looking beast almost looks like 6r when going down the road
Great vid lads il be honest I grew up with Ford and new Holland but if I was looking to upgrade I think I may have found my new machine
Honestly I am CaseIH fan but Deutz Fahr 7250 would be my choice over our 215 Magnum especially 60km, front hitch, trailer braking n our local DF dealership I know well n been look after when we brought second hand McCormick for livestock tractor.
Great video guys and serious content well done👍👍ps do ye very do anything with deno now??
Yes we are all in touch.
@@torquingpoint5057 👍👍
The only thing I would say would be a 4 pillar cab 👍
Big question is would it the fit for a bale spike 🤣😁 good video lads would be nice to put it in the field and try her out. Stay safe 🏴
Leyland front weights on the little Deutz? 🤔
Thanks guys great vid.. Take care..
What a good looking tractor.
Great video. Looks great tractor too
Like many German tractors very well though out machine, I wonder how you'd feel about a 660 claas arion very interesting to see how well the deutz designers have thought it out
Do you guys have a tutorial on how to drive this tractor? I can’t figure out mine so please
Talk to your local dealer
Mucks face when you pulled away
An absolute cracking video guys that machine looks bad ass it's a shame to get it mucky lol 😆 🤣
Great job 👌.
im a fan of those in the lambo colours
that was agood one really enjoyed watching that.
Driven a few deutz tractors and own a few deutz britains models.
Absolutely nailed it again lads and liz loved it. one question are you doing anything smaller than 200hp in that 100 to 180hp one thing I am due a upgrade 😃
Morning mate, we'll be looking at some smaller ones throughout the year 👍
Cracking machine deutz brakes on the argotons were always good were a wee bit heavier on the pedal tho .cool in black .they used to do a metallic darker than there normal green the looked the dogs bollocks . Put her to work it will impress you even more
looking at that the front says get out of my path LOL
Nice tractor
Now chaps that is a tool and a half . And looks the Bollox too. Who's getting one then ? 👍
I ran a duetz dx 110 fwd
How to piss a boy racer of at a set of lights in a tractor .......GEAT ONE OF THESE !! nice one gents she is some beast
Great video
It’s a mean looking thing!
I can't for the life of me imagine buying a Deutz and it being BLACK! I love the Deutz green!!
Order green and not a black one then.
