We need to attack better. We can't combine in the final third. And all our players made stupid desicions in front of goal. We need a good striker. Nuñez needs to start finishing and become better at making the right choices. We needed Mac Allister. He is very calm and he would have made the passing much more controlled. The main positive i have from this match is Endo. He was actually very solid in the number 6 role

Yesterday Liverpool played better
We had the chance to maintain top of the league but we were just not up to it. With Diaz and Nunez not scoring goals recently, the front line is not working at the moment. Need to play Gakpo and Jota as starting line up more often as soon as he comes back and put Nunez as a substitute instead, maybe that will work. We can still go top of the league once again but we must beat Arsenal. Got to find a way to get back to winning ways again. Dig in deep and push for wins. Cannot wait for MacAlister , Jota, Thiago and Robertson to be fit again, we need all the help we can get and hopefully find the right combination in midfeld and attack.
Gakpo needs to have chances to start in the next few games, and I would say maybe Harvey Elliot cause Szoboszlai isn't very good since at least 5 to 6 games.

Diaz and Nunez are the Onanas of Liverpool, they can't even get the footballing fundamentals right. These kind of players will be good and bad very randomly, no consistency whatsoever.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I think Nunez will be much more effective as a substitute, like an Origi 2.0. When he's come off the bench this season (e.g. against Newcastle), he has been hard to stop. He's got that hyper-fast speed of play which will work better against a slightly tired defence, and he'll only need to operate at that intensity for 30-40 mins per game. We could've won this game if Gakpo had started, and Nunez came on in the second half because United were quite timid.
I agree with this, Nunez is far more impactful as a sub. But I am not very convinced with Gakpo, I feel like whenever he starts a game he has a tendency of going missing

What an amazing effort from both team
It's annoying when our defenders have more shots (and better shots) on target than our forwards... I don't know what's happening with our attackers lately but they seem super uncertain what to do when in the opposite box. And even more frustrating is when they all come as subs, they play better than when starting. It goes to all Nunez, Gakpo, Jota and Diaz. Whenever they are given the chance to start, they bottle it.
Our front 3 have been lacking ever since the last international break and they all did very well for their national teams. We were getting lucky by late minute goals to win, but that can't continue forever. They don't seem to be able to break a low block defence and many teams play like that against us.
I hope we bounce back next week against Arsenal, otherwise we'll have to settle for top 4 this season and perhaps work on the chemistry in the team to play better.
As a Man U fan we will gladly take the point against this amazing Liverpool side at Anfield and this is a much better performance after losing 7 - 0 previously, we were worse than last season but played better tbh Liverpool wasted a lot of chances

Diaz and Nunez aren’t performing. Nunez especially, he holds up play stupidly and makes the wrong choices, he’s always caught in two minds and chooses the wrong option. Diaz loses the ball too much trying to dribble past defenders, i respect the attempt but he should stop forcing it. Szobo played really poorly and Klopp should’ve subbed him off from the beginning of the second half. Gakpo needs to play more, im tired of Nunez atp he should be sold and he should get a proper striker or someone to play the role Firmino played, cause it’s not working for me with Nunez. I love him but reality was thoroughly checked today, Salah can’t be the only player in the front three producing fr.

I miss Matip so much. Games like this where opponents sit deep in their box , he actually makes difference by driving the ball towards their goal and does it better than our midfield. Another thing the constant crossing of the ball when no one is in the box , play the ball and go on score. Such matches are going to be costly come at the end of the season.
