But in G2 everything becomes so free they are so open-minded on new strategy and rare picks
He was very trusted. He played with them for 2 years, bonded really well with them and they went to the Worlds Finals together. You can hear this from the players themselves as well. They all look back on it as a great period and a great friendship with mutual trust and respect. Caps even started crying in the 2019 LEC Summer Split Finals against his former team.
You can't really expect people to not be surprised when you propose a Vayne mid out of nowhere. Any reasonable coach or player would be surprised and doubtful at first.

Erwin James T Rupisan I don’t think anyone thinks he is the best mid. Maybe in the west but IG was just too loaded of a team to compete with. TheShy and Rookie were way too mechanically gifted and lane dominant for them to succeed.
