You are not only a great speaker but also very knowledgeable and vibrant. I learned a lot. As an English prof. I enjoyed listening to your English as well.

Well that was a rather unexpectedly scary but very pleasant surprise. I am rather taken aback. A little depressed now, but overall, pleasantly surprised and mildly renewed. LOL
Excellent and insightful talk. Sincerest "thank you" to Dr. Behrouz.

The crowd was lame. I would have stood and yelled at the end. She is a powerful speaker and thinker.

Hum, we actually can see a lot with current techniques in neuroscience. You don`t have to kill a neuron to study it, you can use calcium imaging with 2-photon microscopy for example.

Perhaps focusing on preventing aging itself would be the best direction medicine could take, since Parkinson, Alzheimer, hearth problems, cancer and many others are all age related diseases. That's how you will save the most lives and I'm happy big players like Google are putting a lot of money in anti-aging research.

I'm jealous of my niece and nephew who are 11 and 12 and will never have to live with the terrible burden of mental health issues I have had to for the last 25 years.

She didn't really offer anything, no good information, just attempts at motivational call to actions.
