Are they in thick? I went on Saturday and went 1 for 3, landed a 14# buck. I was fishing up in the lower river near the mouth but not the crazy area by the bridge. From 6-10am only 5 fish landed from all the fisherman there, I had the most action out of everyone that morning before I left. It was slow that morning maybe things have picked up? I plan to down fish down by the F to M road area next time.
The average size was 15lb, but my friend got a 21pounder. We all got our limit out on Sunday. We will be there on 9/3 at the Gate hole. If you want to joint us, always welcome. I like your videos too.
We were fishing about 800 yards from the bridge. Not really crowded that area if you show up around 7 or 8AM. Be carefully about 300 yards from the bridge that has deep water hole which is not easy to across the river unless you have to wait for low tide or get the Pontoon boat like us.
@@minhobbies3916 I was thinking about bringing my canoe and tying it up. I understand that even if you us a small boat to access the water, you have to get out and stand in the river to fish. Do you think a canoe would work? Or would it be to hard to get it launched. I know there is no actual boat launch. Another Question: how high was the tide in your video? I looked like the water was at least waist deep.
I'm in that video hehehehe
Thank you for watching my videos.

@@minhobbies3916 see you out there sometime! I'll recognize your voice haha.
@@Aventura.out. I have not seen you at the fishing spot. Where have you been? I will go fishing on 28 and 29 again. Let me know.
How far above the bridge are you? I understand that it is bait only down by the bridge... Is it as crowded as it used to be with the new regs?

Why did you switch from using a bobber to fishing eggs on the bottom?
I have no room to use for bobber to flow around the river. You will see tons of people around me. Thanks for watching my videos.
@@minhobbies3916 did you see any benefits to fishing them on the bottom? Also do you set the hook for all bites? Even when the bullfish bite?
When was this take?
September 1st.
So many asians
Not only Asian, but also tons of Spanish and Russian/Ukrainian too.
