Project Description:
*************
In today's episode, I am going to use the PN532 NFC RFID module with Arduino. Since this is a getting started video on the PN532 RFID module; so I will try my level best to explain as much as possible. I will also try to make this video as simple and easy to understand as possible. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to comment below. I will try to answer all your questions as soon as possible.
Anyway, I will also compare the PN532 RFID module with the most popular and well-known RFID module MFRC522. I will also try to explain the difference between PN532 and MFRC522. I will also share with you the technical specifications of PN532 so that you can decide which one is the right RFID module for you. And in the end, I will explain how to interface the PN532 RFID module with the Arduino and how to write a very basic program to control an LED using RFID Tags. So, without any further delay let’s get started!!!

Creative video, well done, thank you for sharing it with us :)
Thanks, very informative. You mentioned range up to 8m with an active antenna. Can you elaborate? Where do I find an active antenna for this module?
Hi, I'm using this module with Node MCU. (I2C) When I feed it with Ams 1117 3.3V, it freezes.
5v seems more stable and better in terms of reading distance. But I feel warming in the Pn532 Chip and its LED.
Does 5v pose a risk in long-term use? Regards.
wow excellent tutorial very very nice .... it was a pleasure to follow this explanation...
Thank you.
Nice work. wow so good and what great explanation. Could you make a video using PN532 and an arduino nano, sending NFC card details to a smartphone via bluetooth please
which frequency hopping is used in RFID?
Excellent Explaination, while it has problem using with Nextion LCD. Using it in any mode it stops arduino receiving data from Nextion while sending is ok. if you have any solution please share.thx
Hey, is there a way to use the ira in i2c mode?
Can i use this code for Pn512? thanks :D
Cool video ! Does the circuit also work with the NFC function of a smartphone ?
Yes, it works.
What digital microscope you use?
Andonstar
thanks for the video! when copy pasting your arduino code from the website, there are a lot of formatting errors, it would be amazing if you could upload it as a .ino file, thanks!!
Thank you so much for letting me know. I will tell the Developer to do it immediately.
Now, you can check. it took me 5 hours to fix. Thank you so much for letting me know.
Congratulations! Nice work. Could you make a video using PN532 sending an URL to a smartphone?
You want to use Bluetooth or GSM?
Hi bro, Ur videos are really good..I need u help.. Can u help me plzz.
But can this module also read 125KHz cards?
I have both of these and like to use them to unlock my computers ...can you make video? Will the pn532 read animal tags of 135khz ?
Ya, I can.
Lower the background sound to high for your voice. Thanks for the topic.
Ok Sir, I will do it.
I copied the PN532-PN532_HSU.zip file from your site. Selected add .zip file to library and got the erro message: Zip file has no valid library. I get the same message when I use the original HSU files. I use IDE 1.8.13. Do you have a trick to add the library?
ive got the same sir, please help us for anybody who knows to solve this problem please
You downloaded the stuff the wrong way (most probably, right click, "Download links as"); you should *left* click on the archive link then check for "Download raw file" (icon: some arrow down in a kind of tray)
If I use it with NodeMCU, it will crash and showing error message and the message didn't find the PN532 every after I upload the sketch sometimes. It's annoying. Someone has gave you an issue related to your library on your github, and you answered him to see your youtube video. But no explanation how to solve it. Fix the library.

The library gives a reversed HEX. The halt of while(1) on NfcAdapter.cpp, make it repeat the process in finding device. You have to disconnect and connecting again the power VCC of PN532 board to make it can be found. The public function on NfcAdapter.cpp and NfcAdapter.h are the causes of it.
If you put Nfc.begin on void setup(), board can be found, later if there is a bad connection and make the PN532 is disconnected and connected again to the microcontroller, it won't read the tag. And you have to turn off the microcontroller then connecting again. Bad library.
thank you sir , can you please provide the code
Yes, today the code will be upload on website electroniclinic.com
This is cool, but I'm new to RFID and am having a hard time believing that someone hasn't completely blown all this breadboard tinkering into the permanent past with a product that just stands alone and takes some light Python to make it work.
