Cheyenne that was a great video. I've had my kit for almost 2 years and decided to jump on installing it this morning. Your video was a big help. The ol 300 can stop without running into a pond now ! Lol
Didn’t know that someone full of information and mechanical Experience also looks very pretty LOL you got it all good luck with everything like watching your videos very informative and entertaining
I just installed this kit on a 1991. The instructions said to mount the calipers behind the axle but I found that I couldn't route the brake lines (they weren't long enough). So I ended up mounting them on the front and found that the stock brake line route didn't have to be altered at all
Love your videos and has helped me out, so thank you! Question, I just got a 95 Honda 300 fourtrx and I’ve noticed “gravel sounds” mostly when I turn either way. But, I can hear it as well just going forward just not as pronounced. What’s the 1st thing you think I should look at or do? Any help would be appreciated, thank you! Shanon Thompson
Thank you! I love to hear the videos are helping people. If the noise only occurs while turning I would suspect the axles, front wheel bearings, possibly tie rods as well.
I have a quick question.....I bought the same kit from super ATV n they didn't have directions n I put them on the back side n I see urs are on the front...dose it matter what side they are on I just wanna make sure I got em facing the right way.....ya know what I mean???
Hey! Instructions are online. It will work either way. I have mine in the front do debris isn’t forced into the caliper as bad as if it was on the back side
U sure that’s not mine. Lol. The no brakes or sticking brake. Love video’s Getting kit for mine since I got 12” wheels mine we’ll have brakes on front. Sweet 300. Keep those video’s rolling and the gas ⛽️ flowing. From ur WV hillbilly buddy stay safe
Is it working well with the calipers installed in the front of the rotors? I'm about to receive this kit, and it says they're supposed to be in the rear of the rotors 😟 Every video I see, it is either or! Nice video & good install!
Typically in vehicle applications the calipers are installed in the rear, so if they could go that way I would, but if it's working I'd leave it until I might have to rebuild the front end, then with everything dissembled I'd go the other way
@@CheyenneBullard Just bought mine & I'm trying to find the FRAME number ( not the decal ) per the manual but can't, I DID find the engine number, if you have time on your next video can you show folks where the engine & frame number is??? BTW, are they supposed to be the same?? Thanks
I've been riding mine without brakes but where we are is very hilly. It's a pain to have to roll off a path to stop on the down hill sections. I think I'm going to give this conversion a try.
I just pulled my father-in-laws 97 fourtrax out of the weeds this past weekend. I need another project like I need a hole in my head< but I got it to fire up using ether and the kick starter and now I want to restore it. It has good compression, but it needs a ton of work and parts. I've watched your other videos adding the floorboards and rancher shocks. Do you have any other mods planned? I would like to get it running again for him to ride around the farm. I'm located in central NC too.
Nice! And yes I do I’m debating on the snorkel or not. I’ve been trying to swap the plastics for blue or red but I have not had any luck finding a good set. Are there any mods in particular you are looking at?
Can you please confirm the link to purchase the kit. I have a 1998 Fourtrax 300 FW 4x4. Link in Amazon says for 450 Foreman and it says it won’t fit. Thanks.

Yessir!! Thank you 🙏🏽 hope you are doing well
Do you have a pic of how the lines run on the control arm ? Thanks
Perfect video. Understandable. But one question. What size wheels should go after this job ? Because original small wheels will not fit
The kit says a minimum of 12” wheels or larger and that the oems will not work
Also thank you!
@@CheyenneBullard thanks. How cost this conversion kit? eBay 700eu. But that's touch
When reinstalling your brake line, you didn't have a crush washer on both sides of the brake line fitting. Watch out for a leak.
Thanks for the tip
Did you have any issues with the lug bolts backing out when you tightened up the lugs?
No sir

@@jake06062000 yeah I actually have an axle video of the 300 on my channel. The link is in the description on that video
Will it work for a 1995? I looked it up and it said 1996 up?
Both my front and back are screwed should I do this on the front or worry more about the bavk?
You can do this on the front and be pretty happy. Most Honda 300 brakes don’t even work tbh. These worked great

Thats how this was was! but not now!!
Dream girl. Awesome job!!
Can I use my 12 inch rims or do I have to go 14 inch rims?
Most 12” wheels you can. Depends on the offset of them

Are you planning on doing the rear like this also ?? I found the SuperATV Utility ATV Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit for Honda 2x4 & 4x4 online also
I wish but those kits don’t fit the Honda 300 they fit the ones with the brake drums that are right beside the hub
