- The transfer window has now closed and after a month of plenty of activity it is time to look back on the window as a whole and assess it.
To do that, Kev is joined as ever by The Lutonian journalist James Cunliffe and outgoing Trust chairman Tony Murray to look at those who came into the Town squad in the month in the first half of two-part deep dive episode.
Hear the chaps discuss the many incomings and the impact they could make before we find out a little more about 2 of our newest signing Lasse Nordås and Lamine Fanne from our guest Scandinavian football expert Steve Wyss, who is from the @becausewewin Betting Weekly Studios and the co-host of the Nordic Football Podcast.

The Luton Town Supporters' Trust was created, and initially named Trust in Luton, in 2003 to help force out unpopular former owner John Gurney.
Current club chief executive Gary Sweet was part of the group that effectively forced the club into administration and out of Mr Gurney's control, for a new consortium to take over, headed up by Bill Tomlins.
Another change of ownership again brought problems and administration followed again in 2007, until the club was eventually bought out by the fan-led 2020 consortium, headed up by Sweet, which has now helped steer the history-making Hatters from the non-league to the Premier League.
The Supporters' Trust is a democratic, non-profit organisation run by fans for fans. The purpose of a Trust is to help fans to join together and strengthen their influence over the way Luton Town Football Club is run, and to improve the links between their club and the community it serves.
In a way, we’re like a union, believing that many voices are stronger than one and that the best way to influence the club is to represent many fans, not just ourselves.
The board have reacted well in the window. Shame they weren’t more pro active in the summer, but hopefully these players can come in get us over the line. 🤞
Feels like we have gone back to our model of buying Luton type players. Exciting creative options now in the squad. That Kone fee got out of hand, I’m glad it stopped. Bring on the Norwegians 🔥🔥
Good video - Kone is with a very small agent with little experience or key players on their books so, I think that was the main reason they were mucking us about. I think NORDÅS is more of an animal than Elijah and probably more like Peter Crouch which, is great news.
Fair play to the board, they said they would try to be aggressive and they were. Can't help thinking if they'd been a little more active in the summer then we wouldn't have needed to panic buy now.
Great Pod. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. On paper the side starting this season should be doing a lot better and RE should have been more flexible. Few, including the board, could have predicted the current situation. But incoming players all potentially good. I like the look of Alli- a player who will run into the box at defenders and get a shot off or possibly draw a foul. The other signings look good too. Lasse looks like one for the future, as stated. Matt just needs to get the old guard performing as they should, and with the reinforcements, up the table they go.
Kevin- Is Steve Wyss a brother from another mother?
Least improvement seems to have been made where it’s needed most, across the back; but midfield and the right flank look potentially stronger so we might not have to rely on Alfie to make all our chances.
Getting new players can be initially exciting, then it can fall flat. I thought Jacob Brown would be a goal machine, he is crap. I though Hashi would be exciting, he is clumsy. Also, why didn't Adebayo go to West Brom, because sadly, he is crap now - let's not sugar coat it. Let's see what happens, proof is in the pudding.
