    Thanks for this video, Marion! Why do you spread the wax in the mould at first?

      Hi Maryam, it is to coat the inside of the mould to prevent air bubbles and texture irregularities such as lines.

    Hello Marion, That is a gorgeous candle !!! thank you!
    I will be making an order from live moor thanks to you, and I really need your best recommendation what kind of wick to get? and if it is the same one you using on this video? I will be making sculptural candles so they will be stand alone candles:) thank you!

      Hello,
      Get your pillar wax from Livemoor (I recommend Kerasoy pillar blend) and the wax I would suggest 4candles. You will need various sizes depending on your shape.

      @@GlowedCandles perfect I will!! Which one do you recommend from them the ECO cotton wicks or the roll of thick plaited cotton wick? Or both ? Sorry for bothering you with all this questions 😭

    Hello. When i pour at 65 my wax gets cold so fast that sometimes i need to warm it up again 😅 and i have more bubbles and lines then if i pour at 70 or even 75. Have you tried to pour at higher temp?

    • @GlowedCandles
      @GlowedCandles  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have always followed these temperature and they work amazing for me.

    Hello Marion, I use white beeswax and soy blend supposedly for pillar candles but they seem to soft? I don't know how wax should feel after demoulding! Thank you, love your videos!

      Hello 😊
      Our of the mold candles should be:
      - dry to the touch (no oily residue)
      - very hard! You shouldn’t feel the wax getting softer just with your own body heat.

      @GlowedCandles thank you very much, do you maybe recommend instead of beeswax, palm wax to harden the candles? ❤️

    • @GlowedCandles
      @GlowedCandles  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Stearic acid or stearin is an additive for candles to harden. I never used it though so I can’t comment on how effective it is.
