So glad I stumbled on this video. I'm a newbie so I spent hours trying to figure out how to automate volume this way. Thank you so much! This video was so helpful!
Is there anyway to just type in the db level you want on an automation clip instead of using a slider? I'm trying to do a fade out on my submaster track but I can't get it to exactly 0db at the beginning of the fade out. It's really annoying

Is it not possible to adjust recording volume in protools? Every video shows after its recorded. I can't even find an input volume slider
You need to use the Volume/Gain knob on your audio interface to adjust recording volume.
Very helpful thanks
