    I can say without any hesitation that I'm without a doubt 100% in this. There's nothing I enjoy more than working twords this. It's just what I do. I'm passionate about it. It took a long time and a lot of work to get good at trading. As soon as I noticed myself getting better and started making consistent gains. There was no looking back. I'm a little over 3 years in. I remember the day I decided I was going to learn to do this. It's the best decision I ever made.

      Read you journal. Find weak points. It might be strategy your psychological approach maybe you are just gambling. What Carmin showed about loosing trades against winners is crucial. People loose money because they hold losing trades for too long or revenge trade to catch up with what they have lost.

    Gosh you are soooooo right! I'm am so locked in. I've always wanted this and am just now getting the chance to get into option trading. But a few months back my boy challenged me and I wanted to prove to him n it killed me. Trying to look Cool. Didn't wipe me out but I did pause to reorganize my thought process and why I want this and how to get it. . So I've taken a month off. Revamping my style, my strategies and going in with a plan. I've been killing it on the charts. Now I just gotta put my new mindset to work next month when get started back up.

    Repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results is the very definition of insanity. It is easy to continue to do the same things over again because we hate being wrong, and some want the easy way out. Unfortunately, it does not work that way, and until you take a step back, read your trade journal, and make the adjustments/changes accordingly, you will continue to lose. Please look in the mirror, and understand it is not the market makers, it is you not understanding levels/good setups, and admitting to yourself you need to put in the work to make the necessary adjustments. I promise if you do this, you will see growth in your trading and your profits. I speak from a position of experience because I was the insanity.

    I was that guy my first year trading. April will mark my second year trading. What I have learned is you need to focus on making smart moves and accept that losing is part of the game. Just keep your losses small and focus on base hits rather then home runs. I want to be Pete Rose rather then Sammy Sosa. Hits add up to many strike outs can kill your account. Finally yes in order to be a great trader you need to keep your emotions in check and learn from your mistakes. Journaling is the key.

    Great post.... Just like the person in the message I too have been struggling with "repeating the same mistakes over and over again." Sometimes it feels like you're stuck and can't seem to get out of it and you know what you should be doing but you end up being impatient or just saying "f#ck It" and just doing what you know you're not suppose to be doing. I guess once you touch the stove enough times and those burn marks keep getting worse you eventually learn to just stop and hopefully don't return back to those same habits that were not beneficial to your growth. Thank you again for sharing!

But yea, the ideas of recording what wrong with that trade and compare it to other bad trades versus good trades. That's the best way to see what went wrong. Thank you for doing this! It's really all you need to know... Have some faith and drive in trading, or anything you want to be good at.

    • @lpsminecrafter-js6ix
      @lpsminecrafter-js6ix ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Man there is plenty free tools on the market. You can create your own. Do screenshot of your trade. You can do it easily in tradingview. Add up some info like what price did you get in what price you got out. If that was winner or not. How much money you lost or make. Also put some info about time your reasons why you took this trade. Write a little bit about you emotions. Maybe you are tired bored of out of faith.

    Top 5 ways you can be consistently profitable trader
    1) Trading is game of probabilities - Have strong risk/reward system on every single trade. You can be profitable with less than 50% of accuracy
    2) Jornal and review every trade - Learn from mistakes and never repeat them
    3) Bepatient - Take only best set-ups .
    4) Skills - Improve technical skills and review charts pre/post markets to build watchlist
    5) Psychology - Have right mindset. NO FOMO/GREED
