I watch several TH-cam videos on how to trade in the stock market but haven't made any head start because they are either talking some gibberish or sharing their story of how they made it and I do not want to make mistakes by taking risks in my own hands

This video is exactly the concise info I need to get into options day trading. You answered my questions on strike theory, you showed expiration class, choosing the underlying, perfect. And the visuals using TOS are just what I need for my own setup.

Good luck to you all day trading options, specially buying them ! I have been trading options for over 7 years and I have done intensive research on what works and what does not over the lung run, I also have spoken to the best options traders in the world ! and let me start by saying 1 thing. If you are buying an option You better have a good reason-idea on why you are buying the call or put. Now I do not mean you doing some form of technical analysis and thinking that is your reason and the idea behind it. Buying an option has 3 disadvantage making them harder to trade and be profitable compare to selling them.
    1) Time decay. ( everyday your stock does not move your option is losing value)
2 Volatility ( If your option had a high implied volatility and it contracts , than your option will devalue in price, meaning you over paid for the option and this is if the stock moves your way
3 Options most of the time are over price because they are insurance and they have an expiration date. So if your option does not move with in your estimated time, than it will expire worthless and you will lose all you paid for it.
Now how do you buy an option the proper way?
Simple only when there is a catalyst that you expecting to happen and you could see that stock becoming volatile and have a crazy move. Example - Trump election is coming right? Well yo could essentially go and buy an option 60 days from now expecting for the option to gain value in price as it get closing to the elections as the volatility will increase. Also you must gauge the important indicators to have a better idea. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE BS TECHNICAL ANALYSIS , RSI , MACD and others. I am talking about looking at the options skew, the put/call ratio, upcoming events, data from the feds and your volume profiles to see where is that stock at( in this case the spy) relatively to the supply/demand . For that reason in this case it will make sense to buy an option. To me the best thing to do when trading options is to sell naked puts and calls, also vertical spreads far out the money and collect premium when volatility is high. Now selling naked option is very risky but when you do it right you have an statistical and probable advantage. Essentially you become the dealer and you get pay to hold the risk.. ANYWAYS I AM NOT GIVING FINANCIAL ADVICE AND I AM JUST WRITING HOW WOULD I PLAY IF I HAVE TO BUY OPTIONS.

You have taught me more in 10 videos then I have learned throughout over a month and a half of trading and watching videos daily. I only play far out of the money and try to scalp and I wonder why I don't get anywhere. It's because I never have enough to do at the money or in the money contracts.

    Bid ask spr ad
    Derrernines liquidity
    1.Volume
    2. Open interest
Volume how many contracts traded today
    I. E. ATM call volume =6500(compared to 5k Ath above it)
    3:3 Open interest
Tells how many contracts used as open position interest
    1820 open
(Total traders are also trading it)
    Other than liquidity
Delta (speed or velocity) points per day
    E. G. Delta=30 means
In the money (or out of Money)
Note he never plays in the money
(me:ok so he o lying plays the call strategy?!
set profit target to be = out of the money
Strategy want contracts to come close to in the money 💰
Only then deltas go up, so do Premiums (go up)
Delta is a proxy of a the greater percent (On contract )
    Unique strategy
    1 at the money
    2 out of the money
    I. E.
Great Apr =I. E. 50 60 points a day like ones with Great names goog amzn
    1 strategy: play 3 to 4
    3 OTM
    4 OTM
    5 OTM(eveb 6 OTM)
    As delta=0.33
    (close to 0.30)
Note some cases it's 2 OTM
    Example ntflx sigh balanced supply
    Using candle formations
    After a double topsignal 'down'
    Or ('short at supply')
Have to have profit target 🎯 for every trade
    So you can exit correctly
Good understanding where that area is gonna be -predetermined before entry
Check it I'm the option chart visualize percent return
    10 otm yielded 33 %
Contract moved from 26 cent to 32 cent
    High percentage move but note
    Contracts didn't move that much!
    9:55
What why why : Deltas are Too Low!
Nice scalping strategy at the end
(if only trend goes the direction you want)
