I've purchased three of these over the last 7 years. They are bulletproof and heavy duty for at home use. I can't imagine they will ever fail. I recommend them. I wish they were taller though so I could fit my storage totes on all levels. I have to put my totes on the bottom two levels and put smaller items on the upper shelves.
Agree that plastic isn't the best, as for me, I think they smell of chemicals and I aired them for two weeks and it didn't solve the stench. I also agree about the difficulty of assembling this one. I watched one of your other videos and it really helped on that front.
Okay you shouldn't presume to tell people they don't need a thousand pound rating if they aren't getting it for commercial heavy use. I am a residential user, and an all metal thousand pound rated rack? YES it is more expensive, but it is also FAR more durable and potentially could outlive the user under basic use. You know, instead of having to buy another one later and winding up spending more than if you had just made a proper investment the first time?
I'm sorry I don't agree with all the negatives he talks about. He spent too much time focusing on negatives than the positives, harsh critic for sure. I just redid my garage and bought two of these and My 9 yr old son helped me put it together and he thought it was easy to assemble, I agree. Then my father got one and my son helped him too. I don't care to have a wall mount and adjustable feet, it works perfect for our home, replaced my plastic shelves and the look is way nicer too.
Biggest POS I’ve ever seen. Bought 2, returned both. This model doesn’t have the connection gusset. Therefore on mine atleast, any weight on the 4th & 5th shelf makes the top upright push over the bottom upright where they join together at the 3rd shelf. Major tipping hazard! I would not trust this rack to hold anything!

Please don’t recommend the plastic one to people that live in the desert I’m in Las Vegas and it’s going to melt that plastic in my garage
