The reason the gunshot wasn't fatal is because of the glass it was fired through - it's stormglass, glass made to withstand extreme weather. At first I wasnt really paying attention while watching it but then when they got to the island, I was drawn in. Love this movie, Daniel(Mr. Blanc) and Janelle(Helen) killed it.
First, it was Toni Collette and now it's Kate Hudson. They've played the 'Fabulous but live in a separate dimension' characters and they got the assignment.
Blanc always solves the case quickly. In the first movie, he knew it was the girl the whole time (because of the small drop of blood on her shoe) but what I love about Blanc and the Knives Out series as a whole is that it doesn't matter who the murderer is, not really. It is about the the hidden reason as to why the murder occurred and the journey Blanc takes to solve it.
My favourite part of the movie is how they managed to fit in so many Pop Culture References (along with Excellent Cameos) and be so on point with the world of tech, which can go wrong so easily.

The song Miles is playing when they arrive at the island, was "Blackbird" by The Beatles. The song is about civil-rights, and one of the major theme of this movie is about how a group of white people conspired together to steal the company from Casandra.
I wish, if they're gonna make Janelle blonde, that they went for a platinum color. She has cool undertones, not golden, so I think she could have served a different shade better. That being said, PERFECTION. What a gorgeous face and figure. HD is serving these folks up dirty and Janelle is looking like a filter. We love to see it.
