Love the deck guys! I made a similar build, with the only major difference being I reduced a few copies of cards to make room for the 4 Drop Vegeta with Future Trunks package as well as 1 Drop Mai to help be more aggro against Androids. Still testing but it does help!
@ I ended up changing a few things since then but I didn’t run the 3 drop Trunks that bounces a 5 or less or Gotenks I believe. I ended up dropping the 1 Drop Mai self awakener too cause it wasn’t as consistent or underwhelming most times.
Hey, quick question about the build, as I’m a big trunks fan myself, I really like the build, but is there a reason your not running videl? Too many 0s? I’ve also seen some new tech with 3 cost gotenks that brings a goten and trunks back from the discard pile rested. as well as the 2 cost goten that draws a card. Seems really good for stalling and getting to that later game and refilling your hand.
@ thanks I’m glad you’re liking it! But yes videl contests other lines of play on too many important turns so when you’re forced to go down a line that doesn’t include her she’s too dead in hand to keep. And yeah we deemed the gotenks combo to be more for the blue decks that have access to less hard removal, the combo is decent but it takes up too many slots in deck with subpar cards so it’s better to just play more removal basically
@@jahmadejohn1794 sorry last question but have you tested the deck with galactic donut? I’ve seen it in some zamasu decks and it seems to be good against some late game threats or green, where you can freeze their big boss monster force them to play more cards on the following turn and then you can Zeno instead of just having to Zeno one boss monster. Not sure if there’s much room for it in this deck but just curious if you’ve tested it out, I don’t have as much time as I used to to test some of the theory crafting I have done
At that final turn VS Baby you could have attacked with the first DS combo the Pilafs from field. Then after play the pilaf you bounced with leader. To get all your pilafs back again. Game wouldnt change you would have just gained more value.
@@TheGamerRealm_Official if I were to play final hope I’d drop a gotenks or maybe a double striker to fit or go up 1 card in deck. With yellow the only issue you should run into is majin buu battle card, everything else is easy to remove. Save your galiks and proud saiyans to get out of the majin buu attacks for free or set up pilaf. Otherwise the matchup is free tbh
Yes very much like what the guy above said. I could also see removing a goten if you wanted, since they both flip a card back to hand, and really final hope slash is more flexible with being to bounce your own cards. Though it can’t be used defensively. Most likely going up a card won’t hurt too much either. I’d also probably remove a trunks mini before touching the galic or proud saiyan they both dig a card deeper for 1 but the trunks can be removed from the board and is inly a 5k combo rather than 15-20. Also make sure you know how to do pilaf looping with final hope. I mean I’m sure you do, but I just thought I’d point it out just in case
@@philplaystcg420 true as a blue player from set 1 aswell that condition just gets more and more annoying as time goes on it’s so frustrating isn’t it 😂 the two cost trunks and 3 cost piccolo doesn’t require it tho
I think jiren can be tough, but overall trunks of all the blue decks may have one of the best matchups, I don’t play a ton, but I rarely loose to jiren. It may be their playing poorly, but you want to push them to their awakened side. And they most likely will be charging their jiren 4c but if they aren’t you bottom deck them all. Once he flips he no longer draws, if you can get him to 3 and then just drain his hand, take out his cards, you can then drop him to 0. Or if you get a double strike to take him from 4 to 2 even better so that he has less health. And I guess to clarify always focus removing their board, remove board get them to waste cards defending and then bottom deck, or they don’t waste cards to protect, and then you remove them for free and save your bottom decking cards. Whenever they don’t have cards pressure face combo a pilaf into a swing make them have to take the hits.
Yeah blue is control and some people enjoy that it can be boring for sure if that’s the meta and everyone is playing control blue. But personally I love it

Out of curiosity what did you end up cutting down and what did you add in?

@ try it out if you like but I don’t think it fits in very well with the deck. Consistency is key.

Hey guys - is there a way you can fit in Final Hope Slash? I have an AA version and love it! Can it just be as simple as removing a Galic?
@@TheGamerRealm_Official I'd say that's a possibility

The 3 cost vegito?
It requires you to be at 7 or less in hand. We don't like that 😅

Omg this is so boring :/ if this is the path the game has took people will drop it like they did when topku was around :/
