This video actually helped me handle broiler heat stress in my farm. When I used this method I stopped having mortality. It was quite hectic though. Thank you.

Is that water 💦 on the litter won't cost disease like coccidiosis?

At this time, it won't cause there is a low relative humidity right now, cause of the weather.
Every where dries up before evening and we also remove the litter every 3 days, cause of the soaking... But we there not try this during periods of high relative humidity

Is 6,000 not cheap i mean considering the cost of feed

      No, it was not...
Those broilers were february, 2024 sales, so its an old video.
It cost me #4200 to raise each of them to 6 weeks, plus I buy their 6 weeks feed on the same day, before more feed price increases, that happened in between that 6 weeks (which means I raised the birds on the old feed price, since I bought them in bulk, reason you need to learn how many bags of feed your broilers will eat from day 1 to the final day).
Before sales, I add the new inflation rate, which is the highest price that feed went up to during this 6 weeks, to reflect the current market prices, thereby increasing the cost of raising each bird to be #4700, so selling them off at #6000, was a profit of #1300 per bird at the inflation rate or #1800 per bird on the real expenditure rate.
Since am a poultry farm, that raise a lot of birds and at a profit of #1300 inflation rate, am good to sell off, considering that the customers purchase power is down at the moment of raising that batch.
Hope this made sense to you?

    1. Pls is it advisable to rear about 300 birds using organic method?
    2. And is it advisable to vaccinate birds in organic farming or I should just continue using organic only.

      1. If you can stick to organic medication from day 1 to the final day, without mixing it up with the conventional medications, then yes its adviceable to rear birds using organic method.
      2. Vaccination is totally different from day to day medications. So yes, you have to vaccinate the birds under organic rearing as well.
