I am a black person living in SA and I will tell you this for free. We live in different times. Times where language and words send shockwaves. There are a bunch of main problems in South Africa, here's a few to list them. (Not really in order but numbered anyway) 1. Education (this is the fault of every ruling party, Apartheid (obviously) and the ANC, because an uneducated nation is easier to manipulate/control.) 2. Corruption, I don't think I need to explain why that is bad (literally the reason why South Africa is in the state it is right now) (this goes for all ruling parties South Africa has had, and all major political parties) 3. Racial tension, which the politicians are fueling for their own agendas. (If you think any major politician cares about you, think again.) 4. Poverty, especially extreme poverty, the inequality wouldn't matter so much if people could afford food, and good living conditions. 5. South Africa suffers from a victim mentality, and this goes for every group, it doesn't matter. White people see themselves as the victims because of this, black people see themselves as victims because of that, it may not be all true or all false, but when everyone sees themselves as the victims they don't tend to see others as victims (everyone in South Africa is victims in some way or another.) (political parties feed in this as well, especially the ANC and the EFF)

ANC (ruling party) mainly sustained their support as the party that delivered the nation out of Apartheid. The DA (second party) is the competing party, who have sustained their support by criticizing and delivering on matters that the ruling party do not address. The EFF has broken this dual battle as a competing third party and has threatened the position of the DA and may soon threaten the ruling party. In today's climate, the ANC has lost a lot of power over years of corruption sagas and neglect of the poor. Since they have been the ruling party for so long, it also takes the blame for most of the issues that exist in the country. Anyway. It is the first time the balance of power has been this unpredictable.

A political leader should hear all sides of people in the country and listen actively otherwise tensions will rise. The people in power should listen to others out side their own party as being one sided does not address the underlying issues and miscommunication can grow. Marginalization and division between different racial or ethnic communities are harmful to society and can have wide-ranging negative effects. I am a black person living in SA and I will tell you this for free. We live in different times. Times where language and words send shockwaves. Times where people are "radical" as this EFFady puts it which means they'll go to any extreme to get what they want even if it's the wrong way. ANC (ruling party) mainly sustained their support as the party that delivered the nation out of Apartheid. The DA (second party) is the competing party, who have sustained their support by criticizing and delivering on matters that the ruling party do not address. The EFF has broken this dual battle as a competing third party and has threatened the position of the DA and may soon threaten the ruling party. In today's climate, the ANC has lost a lot of power over years of corruption sagas and neglect of the poor. Since they have been the ruling party for so long, it also takes the blame for most of the issues that exist in the country.
Anyway. It is the first time the balance of power has been this unpredictable.

A political leader should hear all sides of people in the country and listen actively otherwise tensions will rise. The people in power should listen to others out side their own party as being one sided does not address the underlying issues and miscommunication can grow. Marginalization and division between different racial or ethnic communities are harmful to society and can have wide-ranging negative effects. An ego driven politician will let their own people down at the end of the day.

This Afriforum guy is saying South Africa has a divided past, South Africa is divided now. Majority of black people are still in their townships and white people are still in their surbusbs.
There are only 4 million whites in S.A, chase them out and give their positions to black people, then you still have over 30 million unemployed black people. Even if all whites leave the majority will be poor, they are not magically becoming wealthy or have "economic freedom" like you call it. In a communist country only the leaders will be wealthy. By the looks of it, in another 30 years from now, there is going to be 60 million people unemployed in S.A as it gets worse every year. Only one percent of whites are super wealthy, the rest are working class and even a large portion of whites are extremely poor. The same with blacks in S.A, one percent of blacks are extremely wealthy. If you take one percent of 60 million people you get a lot more than one percent of 4 million people. So in other word there are a lot more wealthy black people in South-Africa than whites.
