Thank you sir and yes you’re exactly right! Hopefully I’ll get some footage of the mule show tomorrow and I can share with you all. Thanks for watching my friend
I truly enjoy your videos, I noticed your videos say your from Morrison TN, ain’t that just North or Northwest of Monteagle, I drive a truck and used to run 24 quite a bit and Morrison sounded familiar to me. Again Thank you for letting us tag along with your day to day !!
Amazing, both of you. I love the neck collar and dropped single tree on the mini to get the angle of draft right. Great driving! Sarah Beth will give you a run for your money in a few more years when she gets the height and strength for her own team of mules! It’s been years since I have seen someone that could work a team with a single line. That takes a well trained team and a great teamster to make it look as easy as you do! How did you fit the eye bolt in your tire? I just have a chain around mine and it tears up the ground more than I like. My tire still has the rim on so that makes it harder to figure out how to bolt the eye on through the tire. I want the pull to slightly lift the tire to reduce the drag a bit. I love your videos and am glad I found your channel.
Thank you ma’am for all the kind words. I work my mules quiet a bit with one line. Especially in the woods. And I’ve got some single training videos coming out in the next day or so with Kate and Alice both working to one line. Alice’s very first time with it. Sarabeth stated driving Brownie when she was four years old. She’s had him since she was three. And she, with my help, broke him to drive and finished him out riding also. So she’s been at it a little bit. She does a pretty good job for sure. She loves horses and mules! And she doesn’t give up too easily thankfully. She gets that from me lol. I’m hardheaded at times So as far as my tire, I just drilled a hole thru it with a 3/4” drill bit and put a 3/4” eye bolt in it. You can put a steel plate under the nut on the inside of the tire to keep the eye bolt from pulling thru. And if you hook short, it’ll lift the front of it a little. Or hook longer and it’ll pull a little harder. Just put your eyebolt in between treads in the middle of the tire and you’ll be set. Then add some rocks or dirt for more weight. I’d probably try and get one without a rim. Otherwise you’re gonna tear the ground up because you’ll have to wrap your chain as you say. Hope this helps ya some. And thank you for watching our videos!! I’m glad you enjoy them.
