Video Games are okay to play if you: 1) Have a job & earn good money 2) Exercise regularly 3) Have friends 4) Are satisfied with your dating life 5) Finished all your work for the day 6) Are making progress towards your goals in life Agree or disagree?
@@jordan.best.interest I mean, who gives a shit about what people do in their free time...? i honestly draw and people around me find it weird. why should i care? im having fun
As a gamer, I try to restrict myself to single player games so if I play excessively, I'll realize "dude I've talked to nobody all week" and feel motivation to get out of my apartment. Multiplayer games I try to avoid since a lot of new ones nowadays use FOMO, the fear of missing out along with other strategies to keep you hooked for hours.
It’s funny, I did the opposite. I love competitive games, so I’d get addicted and try to rank up as much as possible and I’d have to stop playing with my friends because they couldn’t keep up. Then I made it a rule that I had to play games that I was interested in with friends because they’re more enjoyable. Eventually it got to the point where there are almost no games I was interested in or had the time. Now I rarely play video games at all because I’d rather put that energy into building something that lasts. Still have a TH-cam addiction though 😂
Frfr I love single player games I don't like online multi-player because most players are no life try-hards and I rather not associate myself with that mess
Im 23, I used to play video games all day everyday but in the last two years I’ve dialed it down to about 3 hours a week or so. This isn’t by choice, it’s because I’ve become very busy chasing goals and I can say that there’s nothing wrong with gaming. Just make sure you do it after you’ve accomplished everything else scheduled that day. Use it as a treat
I’m 22, I still play games good amount of time because I’m night shift but,I agree that games should only be allowed when you get everything done and no gaming on workdays for me or else I feel like crap. If I play way too much(1-2hours) it’s guaranteed i probably won’t get anything productive done.
Thats probably why they were made. On the one hand as an outlet for nerds to impress society and on the other hand to distract whatever competition they might have.
When I was 12 years old playing Destiny 1, a game called SMITE released on Xbox. From 2015 to now I have spent almost 10000 hours on the game. I reached the highest rank multiple times, learned everything about every character, and “pwned all the noobs” thousands of times. I’m 21 now and I finally put the game down. While there were many good times and I met many cool people and friends that I still talk to, I seriously wish I never started. If I put all the time and effort I put into becoming grandmaster in smite into doing anything else, I’d be a professional at something that matters. If you’re 12 or 13 playing games all day when you get home from school, know that some day games will not satisfy your urge to succeed in the world. Pick up an instrument, start making art, or do anything else that calls you.
32 years old and not so addicted to video games. got 7 degrees and making my own brand now from 2 extra passions music and arts. i made it in life, just enjoying everything i love. still love gaming sometimes
@@Yuri-nc9vlAssociates degrees can be earned in 2 years. Most classes transfer to other fields. So you could get a degree in business and have 5 classes left to get a programming degree too, etc
Out of every video game I’ve ever played none made me realize how important it is to make the most of each day like Persona 5 did. It’s a long game but even so you’re under a schedule where you have to level up social stats to level up your friendships. By the end of it, I ultimately cut back from gaming
Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 literally changed my life. I reflected so much on what I wanted in my life and it eventually led me to getting on self improvement. Now I have a vibrant social circle, a good job and I'm making my way up. It's hard but worth it.
I'm 15 turning 16 in a couple of months You mentioned that one of the reasons younger men don't get girlfriends is because they're always playing videogames. Still, one of the main ways I connected more with my first girlfriend was by playing a drawing game with her online since it was the school holidays so the time we spent together in person shrunk.
I love video games, but I haven’t played video games since covid lock downs. I cant or else I’ll get too addicted like I once was. Now I’m 29, first business is doing pretty well, working on getting my second business launched. Net worth approaching 7 figures. I’m excited to play video games in the future, but will not start until I feel that I have accomplished the majority of my goals
I stopped playing video games a couple of months ago because i needed to prepare for my introductory College exams. I have changed my mindset to a point where i don't even care if i dont touch the keyboard or my controller for a couple of days. I do still play video games, but not excessively. 30 mins to 1 hr max. I got no social media though, and my life is basically filled with studying rn and workout. Trust me bois, its worth it cause in the end it pays off. Denmo coolest professor i ever had
I remember the days when I would play COD for hours every day after high school. Age 30 now, the usual grind with COD games wore off quite a few years ago. I’m quite into games that challenge your intellect like Portal and games similar to that. Lately I’ve gotten back into playing Trials. It’s addicting trying to get a new personal best on tracks, or even just pass the extreme tracks. I usually know when to quit on a level, but other times I feel like I have to pry myself away from it. My disability affects things though, I’ve gotten too weak for many of my hobbies I had. I still have some left, but it’s limited. I want to level up in life, but it sure can be challenging when this disease seems to sap away at it. But you have excellent advice, Denmo. Many people should hear this.
i'm turning 20 this year been playing video games for almost my whole life of late been grinding rocket league, for 2 years straight now almost everyday. But recently been going out more, reading more and talking to people (not forming strong bonds but just building the habit of talking to people). I still find my self playing from time to time in the day so currently i'm trying to change that time to entrepreneurship soon i'll break through it. Wish me luck
17:30 made me laugh so hard. Thank you for this video, Denmo. I definitely have a problem with number 1. I'm 21 and in college and a lot of my buddies play videogames and I genuinely like them but since they all go to different schools, i can only really interact with them through discord and shit. But I've got a lot of great friends at my university that i go on hikes with and do club activities for school with, so it's not all bad. I also have a limit set for an hour and 30 minutes that locks me out of discord, so i don't spend too much time on it. I don't know if that's just putting a band-aid on a giant bleeding wound, but it's a start.
Thanks my man, extremely valuable. We don't have to be only girls and self improvement positive vibes,we also need accountability as well. Much appreciated. Coolest professor ever.
23 and addicted, there is just nothing for me in real life. No friends, women have never been attracted or interested in me and I do not have the skills or education to work a high paying job (stuck wage slaving in a warehouse).
i have a friend who just comes home to play his ps5 after work for 6 hours straight and goes to sleep but he can pull women he says he doesnt but i dont believe him as for me though im unemployed and can relate to you id be up for wageslaving but if im just gonna work and come home to play videogames and go back to sleep and have no gf whats the point? plus i really dont even enjoy games anymore because of this predicament im in
As you get closer to 30 years old video games kind of fade away atleast for my experience. I may sometimes get nostalgia when old games came up on remastered form. But I get quickly bored. So I do my priorities correctly. Gym and job is most important, and if im bored maybe I play. But usually watch TH-cam
yeah games to me feel dumb and pointless now i started feeling this way around 26 idk i just cant get the joy i used to get out of them i mean i do enjoy fps multiplayer games like cod because i still get that adrenaline rush but i cant do the zombies stuff it just feels pointless to me but anyways videogames just dont hit the same anymore and ive been a life long gamer
I am addicted to the competition of Halo, when I was 15 I was semi pro and then I discovered weed and girls and stopped playing. I realized that i had the choice to go pro if I continued but I reflected on what that lifestyle would be like and it was not the life I wanted for myself. Of course all my old teammates and online friends went pro after I quit and one of them is on faze clan (Royal 2). I didn’t play for like 13 years but started again a couple of years ago and now that I made some really good friends who are also musicians and competitive i find it hard to quit. I think I’m still chasing that rush of wanting to go pro. Even though it’s still not the lifestyle I want. I have big goals and dreams for my business and band and have already accomplished a lot but I imagine what I could do if I stopped playing and used that time to grind on my business. So thanks for making this video to yell at me to quit
When you speak about the sixth point, specifically the part where you get into the 'online therapy' hub where everyone kinda just talks about their day, I'm confused about the negatives of that one, if me and my friends all get together in Minecraft for example for once or twice a week, and just play and talk about our day, the only negative thing I could see is that we're not physically together, but that's not always easy, so I'm partly confused. Is it just because it can cause the other steps to take place? Because it seems that I skipped every step and went to stage six, or at least I am not a victim of those previous steps anymore, because I spend a few says each fortnight talking to my friends online, but I still make new friends outside of videogames and social media.
30 years young over here. What’s funny I’ve actually lost a lot of interest playing video games. There’s two main reasons, 1: I’ve gotten older and their not as interesting to me anymore. 2: These “Triple A” companies are so scummy and greedy the industry isn’t the same as it was compared to 10 years ago. (They’ve completely butchered my love and passion for gaming) Perfect example is the recent release of the Battlefront Classic Collection. I stopped pre-ordering games since Cyberpunk back in 2020.
27 and I'm in the same spot. I'm at a point where I don't enjoy multiplayer games anymore and I can barely pull myself to finish story modes and achievements. Pre-ordering games used to be cool since it was usually nothing more than a little bonus cosmetic or worthwhile early access, now it's a borderline scam to pre-order because of how rampant unfinished and unpolished game releases has gotten.
Recently two of my friends had a birthday on the same day, first I went with my friend from pre-primary and his cousin and we played a zombie apocalypse survival in VR, then we all went to my second friend's house were they were a lot more people, were me and a couple of people there all played wii sports. Then ended the day by playing Charades in the backyard.
20yo addicted to videogames due to them providing such unattainable experience irl, started when i was 16 and have 4k hours in a 4 years across my few favourite games, it kinda sucks, i dropped off from uni because ive been smoking weed and playing that shit. now few months i returned to uni and things look better, altho i couldnt overcome addiction, cut off amount of hours i spend on a daily basis, but it just so cool. slowly but surely making progress tho
Yo im 30. I love good adventures and story games. But its become more of a job to beat all the games i want to play, and then on youtube theres all the channels talking about some other unique underrated game, you can never catch up and ive been stuck in the train thru out my 20s i still chip away at cyberpunk, but games just dont hit anymore. I could have a degree man. And i didnt even think about it. I just went to work to come home smoke weed and game. Thanx being real about this topic.
I am pretty addicted to video games and have been playing since I was in the single digit years. I’m currently 28 years old and I wish I could take all the days back that I’ve played video games besides like the modern warfare 2 2009 times. Those will always be my favorite. When I still lived in my hometown, I would play video games because I feel like it was fun and it would prevent me from going out and spending money. Now that I’ve moved out of my hometown and halfway across the country. I find myself playing video games because I don’t know anyone here. So, instead of venturing out and trying to make new friends I’m just stuck playing video games. I would like to join this run club where there is both guys and girls, but I find myself stuck in the online world.
Videogames can be used as an effective burst of dopamine. For the most part, I don't play videogames everyday and it is largely a weekend activity so when I finally do play videogames, it is a lot more fun and also doesn't consume that much time.
28 completely gave up on them. Everyone in my family and most of my friends Play. I had to give up my friend group especially my best friend. But we talk on the phone now it's just that before it was more regular. Don't plan on going back. Working on the HUB now, almost completely done with that but every now and then I give in. Sometimes I feel like playing video games again but I think it's only going to be when I'm actually physically with my friends not in my own house alone.
I'm 15 turning 16 in a couple of months So is it bad for me to play Minecraft with my friends? I like to play it, but I don't play it much because I prioritize schoolwork, and then play when I'm finished, my made the server last week using money she got from her birthday so we could all play together. Other than that the only other time I play games is with my little sister because I can't tell her not to play games, so I make sure she's not playing bad ones by being there as well. The one type of game I completely ignore is mobile games, I have 4, only used 3, one is a learning game, and I haven't touched since last year, and have no interest in playing them or downloading more, my friends play a lot of mobile games, but to prevent myself from feeling left out, I just get them to talk to me about the game, rather than me downloading it for myself.
kid, if you can keep gaming under control at your age you probably have nothing to worry about. At 15 l was playing 12+ hours of Madden / Gran Turismo / Soul Blade (and many more) almost every day
Everything you have said here is true. I still need to out in work on myself but what made it really possible to kick video games was when what I used to game on broke and I never bothered to fix it.
I´m 17 yrs old, and sometimes I wan´t to go out with friends do something with my parents go out or just do something useful, but then I tell myself that I don´t have any time to do that, that I have stuff to do, and games fckd my brain up so bad that I think that playing games is more important than anything else and that I should priorotise them and that I to don´t have time to do anything else.
The only videogames I really still enjoy playing are strategy games. And I dont mean the clash of clans or clash royale type of "strategy" game. I mean games that are basically upgraded versions of chess, like risk or empire at war. The type of games that actually challenge you mentally. All these mindless shooters never really impressed me, but I was never really good at them anyways. Only rarely do I make an exception so can experience a good story but thats it really. Even then I would have preffered to just watch a movie based on that plot to be honest.
33 y.o im not addictedd to videogames but i used to, the thing i regret the most is that i didnt dedicate more hours in my life to study and as a grown man im doing factory work with shitty pays. Its really easy for me to socialize with other man but its kinda hard to socialize with women cause there little to none woman playung games, they are out there hanging out with chad and tyrone. The few girls you meet playing games are usually ducking crazy, they are the ones that also cant socialize. Look at the people you hang out with and then you will realize what kind of people you are.
I to would have played less games if I knew it destroyed me, I am 26 now and feel kinda ashamed. But I must admit I also have had some amazing times playing good story driven games and multiplayer with bros
I'd like to add that I have gone through all stages, I am now seeking help getting off porn and I started working out. Games dont interest me as much as they did but now and then I still play
23 years old now. Selling my computer last year led me to experience life. I started talking to girls and traveling more. Although I received an Xbox last year, I sold it because life is a more fulfilling experience.
Hi Denmo. Im 20 and I have seen that videogames at first were fun and awesome. However, I notice that I became an introvert guy who is not very good with girls.(because It was really scary and I still feelings scare of talking with girls to hang out). Now, I have more time to focus in what is important. Videogames are okey if you want to spend time after hardwork but not to avoid It. Thank you.
I remember the days of video games specifically for me Call of duty(mainly) Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter etc. I was the “Sniper” in COD it was a pure dopamine hit, long story short I got tired of the toxicity of the people and cheating, I raged, threw out my console and haven’t played any games since like 2022, also I’m 24 btw.
This is so wierd. For me it was the opposite, in school I was into video games because I had almost no friends, and had to stay at home alone a lot, so it was my only way to entertain myself. Now Im older and I still play because this is the only way I can relax now. Also I was very into drawing in school, because when I felt too scared to interact with peers I drew....now I don't like drawing, I find it extremely boring.
I can't get immersed in video games anymore because there's always a nagging voice in my head telling me that i don't deserve it. Occasionally there are days i feel satisfied enough with what I've done with my day to let my hair down and play and it'll feel like a lifetime of dopamine bliss 😊 Now I exercise 5 x weekly, I earn a slightly higher than average income in my country but my dating life sucks and i feel it is due to the fact that i spent most of my free time on video games growing up instead of spending time outside. I'm being positive and I'm always finding new ways to approach things differently. Heres hoping i can find a gym baddie soon 🤞
I'm glad I never got into video games when I was a kid. My kids won't either; there's nothing to gain from them besides isolation and a false sense of community and reality. I'd rather work on all aspects of my life, level up, and feel like a winner in real life than a chump in a world that never existed with my Discord friends. Yeah, no thanks.
Good call.. I played games so much that I was soo socially awkward and including social anxiety in Highschool. I never got out much preventing myself from pushing my comfort zone . ( I’m 22 I’m not like that anymore).
video game bring pleasure and give a good experience i also think that without video game i would have no dream and goals since i would not have the wish to work on my video games and my mangas.
Random, you always say what topics do you want to be discussed and now I have one, I am 22 and still live w my parents trying to save for barber school, one of my biggest money waste is food that is the main waste of my money, I buy all my own food wich includes snacks and I bearly get snacks cause it adds up, I wanna discuss how much do you and the average person spend per day on breakfast lunch and dinner, I try and only get fast food after work cause it’s quick and I’m tired and that alone is about 10$ and then I still need to get breakfast and lunch and it adds up so much so I just wanna discuss how much should a person spend a day on breakfast lunch and dinner? That is a topic I’m interested in weather others are or not
im at the stage where i have to stop video games becuase im running a business now and i cant play for fun i used to play for a competitive team for cod i wish i could play for fun but im using my energy to win in business and life im playing life as a video game now.
Im 13, pretty young, i think? But anyways, If you guys havent tried it, i do reccomend game development. It's not really the same, but, the rush and the dopamine when you get something working is enrapturing, and, its doing something productive, thats also, my passion.
Building and creating things (virtual and real) is solid life and professional skill-building. Just be sure these are some of many skills you’re building. Your whole life is ahead of you!
Exactly hence why making a game is more important than playing it. Meaning that playing it it’s a reward meant for making a game that’s what it should be like back in the day.
You can make video games and coding and stream video games making money rather than playing video games all day and not getting anything done. You don’t have to play video games you can make them if you didn’t know or stream them unless if you not interested in video games then you can stop them or just reduce them to 1-2 hours week.
Back in the late 2000s I was very much addicted to games. They had their place for me at the time but now in 2024 they're not a priority. If I could have my time again I'd have invested the time I spent on COD and WoW in to studying for IT certs. I've acquired 8 in the last three years and I currently earn more than I have before. I also have a girlfriend and run 4 times a week. I still have steam and am currently playing through all the Halo games on legendary, but that's basically become a Sunday afternoon thing. I am 39.
I'm at the point of my life where I'm tired of playing video games on the weekend. I'm 29 and Friday nights all my friends want to do is hop online and play all night long. I sit in a office staring at a computer screen 5 days a week I kind of want to gtfo of my apartment and do other things, socialize with people. Like I get they don't want to go to bars and drinking but they're all drinking anyways in their rooms while playing games, can we just do something else? sports, dancing, poker, just anything else? At least at the bar we can socialize with girls, right now we are just alone in our rooms drinking anyways. I probably just need to go out myself and find new friends, easier said than done though at this age.
That all sounds terrible, why would you ever want to play poker instead of a video game or worse SPORTS?! You really telling me you find it more fun to kick a ball around and getting physical with other men? Sit your ass down and play a fucking video game lol!
So true...Dude I used to play so much gta online around my teenage that got pratically everything of the game: Every businesses at Max level, every properties, almost of all the cars/bikes/planes/boats and even a Yactch (and all that playing by honest way, with no mods or glitch tricks). I was literally like a fucking Dan Bilzerian on that game lol. But all the time that i've spent on playing doesn't pay it, even knowing that I got lots of funny stories with friends, most of the time it felt like going to a job, to get more money and RP to buy some shit vehicle that i wasn't going use anymore on a few minutes later. It was a grinding torture. I never was a addicted guy to the point of "just playing videogames", at the time i also went to the gym and had a lot of another hobbies, but I realized that i was soon becoming a recluded person, because sometimes i just wanted to do something different, hang out to a new place, meet new people, and i would never do that because i was stuck on a circle of people that was just playing it all the weekend. I was also always feeling bad for playing videogames and soon they became like a burden to me, as i was playing them because i didn't had anything better to do, throwing all my youth away on trash, sitting all the weekend on a sofa and doing the same shit. To my lucky (or not lol) my ps4 had a terminal overheating problem (probably because of the big time me and my brother spent playing it for 7 years). When it happened i got sad on the first weeks, but soon i realized it wasn't that bad at all, because i was starting to have new hobbies, meeting new people and hanging out with them, increasing my social skills a lot. I used to be a very shy guy, and now i think i've bacame the complete opposite of that. It had passed almost 3 years since I had played videogame for the last time, sometimes I miss the Funny moments (Oh Lord how I miss them XD) but at the same time i feel myself as a far better and interesting person today than the guy I was back then. I plan to come back to have an active gamer life sometime in the future(only with single player games) but first i wan't to solve and improve some things on my academic/professional life, and also know the right girl to spend the life with. Guys have in mind, stopping with the addiction it's just the beggining, but the freedom you feels breaking that vice, will make you feel better on every next second of your life.
gaming in moderation is good, but when u live and breathe gaming is when it starts hindering your future. should pickup games again chief, especially doom eternal
But what if you played video games while talking. And ChatGPT kinda has writing covered respectfully lil homie. Your thoughts to a you vs a Charlie type of situation smaller time streamer though but tackles these topics and branched out and had a lack of social skills growing up I’d say is really down to earth and a socialized
As a 14 year old, I just feel limited. People my age are just addicted to minecraft and watching hentai all day. Girls arent mature enough either. I just feel like im mentally superior already, thus its very hard to find a girl that meets my standards. Cold approaching is harder to, because girls at especially this age dont go out that much. Dont really feel like theres an achievable and reliable way to pick up girls my age, which sucks cuz I crave love too.
One of the concerns I have with making my laptop grayscale would make focus less in class, a lot of schoolwork we do is on our laptops, so I use colour to make it look interesting, but if all my schoolwork is in black and white, my attention is going to be drawn to other things, the classroom, other people's screens, outside, and I won't be paying attention. I do have my phone on grayscale though.
You right, sometimes i feel i wasted my entire adolescence, in that time i asked myself a few times, why im so cool w my friends online but in school nobody notice it? a great deal was social skills too lol Actually i'm 23, software engineer, and i realize i just need to stop wasting time playing videogames and i will be able to duplicate or triplicate my income in just 6-12 months.... Videogames are great, but also makes you a loser irl, or at least not your best version
Well Denmo, I am going to be 24 next month and I still play video games from time to time lol. But I play because of story games and I’m a geek lol although right now I am addicted to Nazi Zombies again after replaying it since last month🤣. Other than that, you’re right!
Love ya Denmo and what you say isn't necessarily wrong, but the fact that most of your references were from Call of Duty, Fortnite, or GTA tells me that you're only knowledgeable about a fraction of what gaming offers. I know you only mean the best for us guys, but it's pretty misleading to say that gaming only rots your brain with no benefits to your life. The games I'm involved with such as Counter-Strike, Valorant, R6 Siege, etc. have changed people's lives for the better, especially when it comes to the esports aspect of it. It kept people out of trouble, gave them careers, and even saved lives. I don't think I would be alive watching these videos nor be inspired to pursue a business if it weren't for these games. I'd even go a step further and say that you can use gaming to improve yourself like I have. Physical fitness has proven that it can improve your gaming skills, so I started hitting the gym, started cooking, lost nearly 20 pounds since last year, and everything in my life, including my gaming skills, has drastically improved. And I'm doing this while working a 9-5 saving up for my future business involving esports and gaming. Obviously you shouldn't let your life be gaming 24/7 letting it control every aspect of your life, but going cold turkey on something you genuinely enjoy isn't the answer either, especially when it isn't the problem in the first place. A healthy balance is what we all need.
For the time being, I quit video games a couple weeks ago. I want to finish school and get settled in my career, find a woman and marry her, and then bring the XBOX back out sometimes.
I have channel i make money from it, all i do is compilation of video games like funny epic wtf moments and people watch them and making decent money with it, i don't play video games because i ofcourse find is unhealthy and as you said neck pain and Spain pain is real, its also because im 6'3 which is pretty tall in the country i live. My future plan is to create content in travel niche because I'm bored of making gaming content for kids need something that doesn't feel boring so travel is way to go
Try and not go on a pity rant, but, 38 yo, waisted alot ofy life playing videos games, out cast most my life, abusive mother(bad) and stuggle with alot of low self esteem, could go on but yeah. I kind of juat expcet to be himilated if i approach a woman.
dudes do NOT want to think they are responsible for their own failures. Calling out an often BAD habit like video games is very triggering. A harsh truth makes people turn away
Video Games are okay to play if you:
1) Have a job & earn good money
2) Exercise regularly
3) Have friends
4) Are satisfied with your dating life
5) Finished all your work for the day
6) Are making progress towards your goals in life

Agree sir
I'm not agree with #1 but kek It's hard to avoid being a wagie
As long as video games don't distract you from your responsibilities, you're good.
agreed... but watch the video first
Yea, I play video games before I go to sleep so I dont have any responsibilities on pending while I'm gaming
This is what alcoholics say

Listening to this while playing a videogame
all good, by the time its over you will learn a few things

Out of every video game I’ve ever played none made me realize how important it is to make the most of each day like Persona 5 did. It’s a long game but even so you’re under a schedule where you have to level up social stats to level up your friendships. By the end of it, I ultimately cut back from gaming
That happened to me after I played persona 5 it made me reflect on my own life.
Persona really teaches you the value of having a social life lol
Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 literally changed my life. I reflected so much on what I wanted in my life and it eventually led me to getting on self improvement. Now I have a vibrant social circle, a good job and I'm making my way up. It's hard but worth it.

I'm 15 turning 16 in a couple of months
You mentioned that one of the reasons younger men don't get girlfriends is because they're always playing videogames. Still, one of the main ways I connected more with my first girlfriend was by playing a drawing game with her online since it was the school holidays so the time we spent together in person shrunk.
I'm not addicted to playing video games but I watch anyways because your videos are so good to listen to while working out ! Keep it up !
Got two businesses going?
Pretty sweet man!
What’s your rank on rocket league? Just curious but good luck 🍀
Thanks for helping this kids today. Bro you are doing their parents job. You’re gorgeous bro!
No friends, women have never been attracted or interested in me and I do not have the skills or education to work a high paying job (stuck wage slaving in a warehouse).
i have a friend who just comes home to play his ps5 after work for 6 hours straight and goes to sleep
but he can pull women he says he doesnt but i dont believe him
as for me though im unemployed and can relate to you id be up for wageslaving but if im just gonna work and come home to play videogames and go back to sleep and have no gf whats the point?
plus i really dont even enjoy games anymore because of this predicament im in
Until you don't change yoir loser mind you wont have friend and girls. Get the membership in the gym
im 22 im out of that addiction, butnow im addicted to watching motivational videos
As you get closer to 30 years old video games kind of fade away atleast for my experience. I may sometimes get nostalgia when old games came up on remastered form. But I get quickly bored. So I do my priorities correctly. Gym and job is most important, and if im bored maybe I play. But usually watch TH-cam
yeah games to me feel dumb and pointless now i started feeling this way around 26
idk i just cant get the joy i used to get out of them
i mean i do enjoy fps multiplayer games like cod because i still get that adrenaline rush but i cant do the zombies stuff it just feels pointless to me
but anyways videogames just dont hit the same anymore and ive been a life long gamer
Great video Denmo. I used to be really addicted to video games. But I finally stopped my addiction to video games.
Best professor ever 😂
Incredibly insightful thank you
When you speak about the sixth point, specifically the part where you get into the 'online therapy' hub where everyone kinda just talks about their day, I'm confused about the negatives of that one, if me and my friends all get together in Minecraft for example for once or twice a week, and just play and talk about our day, the only negative thing I could see is that we're not physically together, but that's not always easy, so I'm partly confused.
There’s two main reasons,
1: I’ve gotten older and their not as interesting to me anymore.
2: These “Triple A” companies are so scummy and greedy the industry isn’t the same as it was compared to 10 years ago. (They’ve completely butchered my love and passion for gaming)
Perfect example is the recent release of the Battlefront Classic Collection. I stopped pre-ordering games since Cyberpunk back in 2020.
Agreed 👍 That’s why I usually play the classics
27 and I'm in the same spot. I'm at a point where I don't enjoy multiplayer games anymore and I can barely pull myself to finish story modes and achievements.
Pre-ordering games used to be cool since it was usually nothing more than a little bonus cosmetic or worthwhile early access, now it's a borderline scam to pre-order because of how rampant unfinished and unpolished game releases has gotten.
Ngl, I had decent grades, good finals and solid ACT score's all while gaming like a pro at the end of High School. You're right, balance is key
Recently two of my friends had a birthday on the same day, first I went with my friend from pre-primary and his cousin and we played a zombie apocalypse survival in VR, then we all went to my second friend's house were they were a lot more people, were me and a couple of people there all played wii sports. Then ended the day by playing Charades in the backyard.

addicted to videogames due to them providing such unattainable experience irl, started when i was 16 and have 4k hours in a 4 years across my few favourite games, it kinda sucks, i dropped off from uni because ive been smoking weed and playing that shit. now few months i returned to uni and things look better, altho i couldnt overcome addiction, cut off amount of hours i spend on a daily basis, but it just so cool. slowly but surely making progress tho
I would like to join this run club where there is both guys and girls, but I find myself stuck in the online world.
im 22 and addicted to videogames
I'm 15 turning 16 in a couple of months
So is it bad for me to play Minecraft with my friends?
I think playing Minecraft with friends isn't bad until its out of balance with other life responsibilities.
kid, if you can keep gaming under control at your age you probably have nothing to worry about. At 15 l was playing 12+ hours of Madden / Gran Turismo / Soul Blade (and many more) almost every day
I love videogames
Fuck call of duty and gta get red pilled by metal gear solid 2 and 3
Metal gear brings me some awesome memories...damn

Its really easy for me to socialize with other man but its kinda hard to socialize with women cause there little to none woman playung games, they are out there hanging out with chad and tyrone.
The few girls you meet playing games are usually ducking crazy, they are the ones that also cant socialize.
Look at the people you hang out with and then you will realize what kind of people you are.
Is it okay? as a 14 year old to play 2 hours a day for 3 days a week
You’re 14. I don’t see the issue. 3 days a week is pretty good
Yes, but focus on your schoolwork and make friends

Hi Denmo. Im 20 and I have seen that videogames at first were fun and awesome. However, I notice that I became an introvert guy who is not very good with girls.(because It was really scary and I still feelings scare of talking with girls to hang out).
Occasionally there are days i feel satisfied enough with what I've done with my day to let my hair down and play and it'll feel like a lifetime of dopamine bliss 😊
Now I exercise 5 x weekly, I earn a slightly higher than average income in my country but my dating life sucks and i feel it is due to the fact that i spent most of my free time on video games growing up instead of spending time outside. I'm being positive and I'm always finding new ways to approach things differently. Heres hoping i can find a gym baddie soon 🤞
Right how old were you when you officially stopped
Question here. @Denmo
Is it possible for guy and a girl to have platonic relationship?

I’m bout to join the army you think it’s a good idea?
Hilariously accurate 💯
Im 20 and addicted and am focusing on gambling
Listening to this while planning to make a video game
I wonder how we would be if video games didn't exist.
Denmo invented video games, best professor ever!

My brothers and there friends would go out in the woods and fight each other with sticks that they found or made
Multiplayer games for sure. Single player games are a little different imo
I'm 15, 16 in few months
I'm playing video games too much I can admit.
You right, sometimes i feel i wasted my entire adolescence, in that time i asked myself a few times, why im so cool w my friends online but in school nobody notice it? a great deal was social skills too lol
Actually i'm 23, software engineer, and i realize i just need to stop wasting time playing videogames and i will be able to duplicate or triplicate my income in just 6-12 months....

You think this is bad?
I went to school with a guy who tried learning martial arts by playing mortal kombat. That dude got his ass kicked lmao
i love these long videos
