Thank you very much... I do like the new look it fits well with the rest of the bumper trim. In the end i finished the parts in plasti dip for a reason, I can always revert it back to original...

Thank you for support, it means a lot. The next video is going to be on the bumper lip, it is very cheap and easy to do. I am thinking about halo lights, that might be one of the future videos...

Looks good, I removed it and the side intakes, cut it out and replaced it with a bigger hole mesh
I was thinking about doing the same thing, but I gave up on it...
@@arcgarage not to difficult, and more uniformed look with bigger holes at the bottom
The 147 badge mod looks really good 2, I painted mine same colour as the bonnet but will definitely go that route in the future

Mactac M81 matt/ or glossy black car tape in narrow (chrome delete) 5cm and 15cm rolls. Ideal for hiding chrome parts or for making stripes, for example. 14 € . I used this because I didn't want to paint the original parts. It's easier and if you want to restore your car to its original condition use this method. Durability up to 8 years.
I kinda like the original better. I think what might look good is, if you painted inside of the grill into metallic and the wings and borders of the back grid in black
I was thinking about that, but problem with that approach is that it is permanent. I used plasti dip specifically because it is removable...

In your personal opinion which grill does look better irl, this or the honeycomb one, I'm deciding between the two

Hey I wanted to ask what is the exact model of that front icon things from the 147 because i cannot seem to find them anywhere, and also where did you get that lip from ?
The chrome badge backing is from the 2002 Alfa 147, lip was on the car, but I got the new one which is the same, and I will install it in next video... the lip is universal

The 2 bolts you remove at 1:13 are super stuck (rusty) on my alfa. Even with force. Any ideas how to loosen them?
That is a tough one. Use loads of WD40, but there is a big chance that you might snap it off...
I want to make it gloss black.
Should i sand it down before?
Or put clearcoat on it?

If you do that, you won't be able to revert it if you ever wanted. This is a plastidip and it easily peels off. However, if you want it in black permanently, I would sand it lightly before painting...
@@arcgarage thanks, yes i know i want to make it gloss black because the exterior of the car is also gloss black. So it think it would match well. I am also thinking about the 2 air intakes down the front bumper

I meni je, stvarno je promjenilo izgled auta na bolje, jos cu prefarbati vents na braniku, i novi lip...
