Pete is a great guy. He helped broker a deal for me to buy a really nice 40 Merc trunk lid from one of his friends. The best part is that Pete was storing it in his barn.

My Iron Trap is more of the 2 wheeled variety, but all things vintage and mechanical scratch the itch.

I really liked where friends are acquiring hot rod treasures for other friends. It's great to receive gifts no matter what your age is, although there is something fantastic about giving to others. It is absolutely true, it is more Blessed to give than receive ❤❤

Pete on video is terrific but Pete "live at Hershey" is even better. Great talking to you again.
In the late 1950s in a small town in west Texas a friend had A souped up 52 Olds, A kid was in town in a55 Chevy and we raced him. He said his father put a Fish carb on the 55. Said it was from a tank engine. Quite fast for that time.
We didn’t hardly believe the story, but now I know maybe it was true.

I think all hot rodders and drag racers go through that thing where you buy a car, then start working on it, then start parks collecting. I went through this with cars, then realized motorcycles where faster for less than half the money, then I went through the parts, and bike collecting phase. We all go through this. Awesome content Matt, and Keep up the great work.
Money has always been the dark side of collecting. Seems the people who truly value something are not the ones with money.

That car is tuff
I've known 3 collectors (hoarders) they bought stuff never used it on any projects, in fact never built anything. All 3 past a way . After that their wives had their collections hauled away for scrap. Because they were tired of looking at their husband's mess . Sad but true .
