I feel the same. But pat you give so much of yourself and putting together the shows you do is so much behind the scenes work. Thankful i have the opportunity to view your site. Thank you
Yes, I remember watching you sew up scraps and hang blocks all over the room--fun! 🙂 I'm a random scrappy person too. I have to have control lol. Patty's book looks nice and inspiring. She has beautiful finishes in the book. Love how the Ombre Lone Star looks!
I love the idea of using up scraps! I have made a large lap quilt and several baby quilts with leftover bits. They are also great for test blocks and pillows.
My Leckerlee lebkuchen arrived today in the nutcracker tin! It is absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for the recommendation. I think it will become an annual tradition.
I have trouble with 4 inch blocks not sure I could handle the 3 inchers. My fingers not as nimble as they used to be. Beautiful book and quilts. Might try a smaller project.
I just thought last night after quilting a few pot holders as gifts that my scrap bag is getting larger, so I decided that today I was going to sew some blocks up.
I'm a mug gal. Paper scissors, glue stck, various pens, pencils in my sewing room. I also have a mug in the living room for assorted stuff and one in the office. A great way to display those cute mugs.
I love scrappy, so, I love the little Log Cabin block.......Maybe I can get some made like that...Would you even guess that at this point I don't have enough scraps to do it??? Can you believe a quilter short on fabric?
I sewed crumb blocks with you in 2021. I’m glad I did it but it’s really not my thing at all . I’m trying to use my scraps in a manner that brings me joy and it’s actually quite difficult for me , I need structure in my quilting
Hi Pat! I just love this book!! I can't wait to see your red & white crumb quilt finished. I had forgotten about it & may have to do on myself. I forgot to ask you-how big were the blocks you made for the red & white one? And didn't you cut them in half diagonally?
I've only started watching TH-cam this past year and so I have lots of videos to catch up on. But I did see some of the ones from 2021 using up the leftover scraps from projects and I'm thinking of incorporating that into my 2025 plans. Love that book idea and think I'll get it for my sister-in-law for Christmas with a few fat quarters.
I love all your scrap blocks, but my first thought is how do you press all those seams to lay flat? I would like to start sewing my scraps next year. Thank you for all your videos.

Thx Pat.

Liquid starch is no more!!! Makes us starchers very sad. Company decided to stop producing it😢
