High Speed crash rips wheel out of Turbo Pro Street Motorcycle

🔥 Saturday night at the Orient Express Racing Pro Street qualifying, Ryan Hable put it all on the line to make it into the field. Despite not being qualified, he was determined to make his mark. But sometimes, fate has other plans.
After losing traction on the starting line, Ryan kept pushing, hoping to secure his spot. Then, disaster struck. His chain broke loose at half-track, wrapping around the tire and ripping it out of the swingarm. Luckily, Ryan was able to walk away uninjured.
**Ryan is following up with the doctor today (4/22/24) and may have a few broken bones in his hands.
🙏 Ryan's update after the event:
"Just a quick update for everyone. Yes, I went down, but I'm okay. It was nobody's fault, just a freak accident. The chain decided to make a run for it and got tangled up, sending my wheel packing and the bike attempting a stoppie at 160/170 ish. The sprocket's mint, Dunlop tire's still holding strong at the same PSI, and the DME arm did its best in a one-in-a-million situation. Shoutout to Vanson Leathers for literally saving my behind.
As usual, it's another 'never seen that before' moment, but that's just how it goes for us, and I'm okay with it. Thanks to everyone for the support and looking out for me. 'Whiskey Bich' will live to fight another day 😎 One year ago, I was in a hospital bed unable to walk. Now, I walk away from this tumble with just a few scuffs. Grateful for every step forward."

this why they had a helicopter down at mir a couple days back?
Yes I think the helicopter came 2 or 3 times.
Not for this but the mir staff on a scooter got hit bad. Then a rider went down who didnt have their helmet buckled. He was flown out also. Crazy weekend😊
A guy i ride quads with passed away Saturday. He's from Fredericksburg VA but was racing his bike at budds creek Saturday. and crashed. he wasnt even 25 yet

This was unreal.
Think you will find the chain coming off and chainsawing the axle is what caused all that.....
It ripped the swingarm apart. The rim and axle came off together. I never seen one do that.
Wow that looked violent. Some sparks were happening just before the rear let go. I wonder what that was?
That is the chain breaking. The cahin ends up wrapping around the wheel and pulls it right out of the bike.
Blimey! I didn't know that could happen. So quickly it chew it all up!

Yes he walked away and was in good spirits that night. He is at the hospital today however having his hand looked out to see if he has any broken bones.
