  • Tony recently secured his first underbone! It was a model I didn't even know existed in New Zealand.
Enjoy this lovely offering from the late 90's/early 00's. Hyosung is a South Korean brand.

I also filmed Tony's Mazda Cosmo Rotary on my other channel: th-cam.com/video/oWKLqJyomKY/w-d-xo.html

You certainly had the Midas touch with this video.
The Hyosung cruising is soul music to my ears. 😁

Jefe wins comment of the day, as usual. You could make a Korea out of this stuff.

@Small Bike Stuff Thank you. Sometimes I find myself "Incheon" for a change but "Life's Good" as it is.

Did a top speed run the other day on SH2, managed to hit 95kmh. Not too bad I thought!!!

Quite interesting, i have never seen a 3 valve Hyosung underbone here in Korea!

We still get Hyosung in the Uk, but only two models now. Interestingly UK Ebay is full of spares for the Midas (which I've never seen here) I have ridden one of their 650cc cruisers, and that was a really nice bike for the price point.

Good feedback! Looks like NZ and Australia don't have them anymore but some countries are still bringing them in. I've ridden 650 cruiser also. Not a terrible bike. Getting on a bit now - all the examples in NZ are 10 years old or more.

Awesome vid mate, agree with the soft suspension comment, will probably look at replacement for the shocks at some stage. Still yet to do a top speed test also! It's making do as a great little commuter bike!

Thanks for letting me ride it! I've got the stock wave shock hanging around. Think they may be a bit longer than those though. Measure and let me know what the rear shock length is.

Very cool bike, I dig those 16s and that big ass break pedal. Also has a cool look. The one major design shortcoming I see with this is the same I see on the supercub, the pilion pegs are mounted to the swing arm, I imagine that has to be uncomfortable for the passenger. In the US Midas is also a oil change shop. My new undertone should be ready soon. Talked to Jack yesterday so my modifications right out of the gate will be ready to go once the bike is delivered.

Glad you like it! I was watching the video back and was sad I didn't mention the table sized rear brake pedal. So good. Can't wait to see the new bike also!

@@SmallBikeStuff There was much cool stuff to talk about on that bike, so I can forgive the oversight. When the bike arrives I will send you some pics before the mods. I will also do a walk around video of both bikes like we we discussed on our last call.

Absolute weapon! Sounds awesome. Yeah a lot of the 4 speeds could do with a ratio between 2nd and 3rd.

Great video. I've never seen one here in Australia (as far as I'm aware)

Interesting! Australia has a weird relationship with small bikes it seems due to the varying license rules in different states.

That’s a nice little bike, just nice with the back carrier. The tyre is a bit odd size.

    • @SmallBikeStuff
      @SmallBikeStuff  ปีที่แล้ว

Yeah the big carrier is useful. Agree that 16” is a bit weird.

We had the suzuki FX110 in New Zealand also. Seems to be a slightly different model with the same name.

Random question for you for you may be my only hope to help identify the bike i have. It's almost an identical shape as your channel picture. I'm gonna go ahead and sub to this channel if it helps my plea. You're my only hope.
