      That's how marketing works, u show some gimmick that may persuade someone to buy your product. Unfortunately usually gimmicks come by a cost of something else in this case batteries longevity.

    • @RyanUniverseZ
      @RyanUniverseZ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@alphaenterprise2232 the charging speeds don't affect your battery health the heat does
      Idk why everyone believes that charging at high speeds degrades your battery life.. it Dosen't when the phone gets hot the charging speed automatically reduces to keep the phone cool and get's fast again after reaching a certain temperature this keeps going on to ensure the battery is safe
      Also Xiaomi claims 800 charge cycles for 80% battery health which means fully charging your phone from 0-100 over the span of 2 years.

    • @alphaenterprise2232
      @alphaenterprise2232 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RyanUniverseZ I don't think that charger can assume temperature of battery, maybe the amount of a constant voltage or a battery assumes that is full already but that doesn't change a fact that due to the process heat is generated. Slower chargers take longer to charge up a phone, but they doesn't generate as much heat as fast charging.

    • @RyanUniverseZ
      @RyanUniverseZ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@alphaenterprise2232 The charger Dosen't detect your battery temperature 🤦
      The phone can communicate with the charger that's why chargers have a motherboard inside them to act as a failsafe the phone constantly sends the temperature data to the Charger so that when it heats up the charger lowers the voltage down to a certain extent
      Also when your phone gets to 100% the charger automatically stops the current flow from the socket to your phone
      Also most phones also have an internal temperature detector that is Intergrated within the SOC in order to Avoid Overheating and it can detect Battery temperatures too
      Seriously dude where are you living 2010?

    I love xiaomi. I wish they would make smaller phones again like for example the xiaomi mi9 se. In my opinion 6 inch is the perfect size for a smartphone.

    120watt that's 5x more charging wattage and 5x faster charging time than S21 and iPhone
    2x battery for 2x wattage,,
    just like Electric Car
    But, what about Battery Charging Cycle??
    will it deplete 5x faster too?

      Officials from Xiaomi said the battery life will retain 80% of health after 800 charging cycles with 120 watts

      @@lynnthihakyaw1805 if 1 day / charge, then it should be 80% battery health after 2 years. Impressive 👍

    There will be a time when finding the charger will be considered as time wasting and time consuming than charging the phone. Damn so much is happening in the background.
