This beats just signing a yearbook any day. Question - how do they maintain the chalk on the board? Is there some coating that they put on to maintain the chalk presence to reinforce everyone's writing so that it remains on the board and can't be erased? That kind of fascinated me.

I just finished watching "10 Things I Hate About You" for my first time, now 2021, on Disney+ and I wondered if this school was real, and then at the very end of the credits, past the song, past the blooper scenes....it was filmed in Tacoma Ahahahah
I have a friend from New York City who came to visit Tacoma, and I happen to live in the Stadium district. She goes, “this looks like ten things I hate about you” lol
Just saw the WW2 Vet who got awarded his High School Diploma. Great!!! Then, to come to this video and find out the fascinating story about this building. So pleased to know that you guys have decided to maintain this gem of a structure. Hope to get a tour one day. This place is major intriguing and some beautiful architecture with a well-planned space usage. Great on the Architect who originally designed the hotel. Really enjoyed watching this video - 10 10 10!!!!!
I lived right across the street back in 2006 I had my first apartment at age 17. I remember the thriftway grocery store and the bus line that went to downtown Tacoma. I miss it so much wish I would have stayed in my apartment but now I live in wack California
My dad and his brother went there same time. Only thing I can remember my dad mentioned about the building is that it was really old. “Might be as old as the dirt it’s sitting on”. Don More class of ‘39 or ‘40. Older brother Glen E. More, Jr. They lived at Browns Point.
I went there. Kids would hand other kids from the windows by there feet and hands. Sometimes teachers would not show up to class because the kids where so bad . Also we where band from football because of the crips and bloods. Worst high school ever.
The pool. They say they have one but I never seen it when I was there. Kids would throw fire crackers down the stairs well to scare others as it was a winding stair well

both my parents went to stadium back in the day; my dad's class was 1938 and my mom's class was 1939.

The are teacher allowed a kid to make a ventilation shoot that had and abortion baby at the end and a hooked pushing mass baby's out at the top. Ugh
