I need to improve the well deck storage by hinging the original storage box & making another one for the other side. Boyhood Mondays - Frank Johnson The climb - Telsonic
Very good job Andy and looking nicely with your hinges more suitable for your boat and will look as if they’ve always been there👍👍👍👍👍👍🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🍀🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Hi John, I did consider putting a U channel with drains under the frame, but it was too much work. I am installing the cratch cover back eventually ,so it will be covered over. Thanks for watching Andy
Thanks for the welding info, Andy. Incidentally, what happened to the cheap welder you reviewed to use on the refit on site? I notice you seem to be using the same welder you use in the shop. Did it turn out to be no good in the end?
Hope it helped you. I used the cheap set a lot in the shop for welding thinner plate and it worked fine for 2 years. I gave it away to a lad who was learning welding. I have two 240volt welders from a company called R Tech that are excellent. The 180amp one I have had for 4 years and done all of the welding on the boat with it and it does not trip the supply at all. An excellent set for home MiG & stick. I recently got the 250 amp one that is MIG ,Stick and DC TIG also excellent. The R tech machines are brill with 5 year warranties , Not seen anyone give warranties like that. I would recommened them if you want a decent set. Andy
Brilliant job I could watch you for hours 😊
Thank you so much David, glad you enjoy watching 😀

Cheers Emma , more fabbin to come this week.

So should a newly built Narra's be allowed to rust first before the next stage is done. Talking mill scale that is.
Hi Garry, It is the tradditional way to get rid of mill scale. Steel was left outside for that reason . Now they can be shot blasted after manufacture
