Good video, we should all respect the different cultures, and even more if we're gonna use them for making money, especially the assians ones because you give more importance to it. Greetings from Chile, on the other side of the planet.
Has anyone even wondered why the name Shadows? Like nothing in Japan really speaks to me as the term Shadows, perhaps Sakura or something like that. The only connotation I can make is the shade of Yasuke's skin. So under the guise of diversity, isn't this just more and more racist/discriminatory, the more you look at every aspect of the game.
Usually the word "Shadow" in feudal Japan mean somebody who disguised as their lord/master in order to avoid assassination in public. It can also be use as implication of ninja, and you can already see that in Naruto where they have "Hakage" which literally mean shadow of fire. Welp, out of so many good contexts behind it, ubisoft decided to think out side the box and tank their own stock price.
Thank you, I hate it, I hate Assassins Creed Shadow. Yasuke was never a Samurai, Why can't we play as a JAPANESE in a game set in JAPAN? Why do we have to play a BLACK MAN in a game set in historical JAPAN?
People dunking on AC Shadows is infinitely more entertaining than the game has any chance of being.
