I will try. I'm learning my craft. Both motorbiking and video production as I go. Being retired gives me some time hone the skills. 👍Thanks for riding along. Your encouragement means alot to me. ❤ ~GrizzLee
Grizz, another awesome moto segment of this journey. Always remain courageous and bold. May your stories always be told and never grow old. Cheers, Mate
Definitely some big grizz I've seen along that road and the entrance to China head. Had one run off the road when my Fiance and I went for our 2 year anniversary ride there in the winter, amazing road. Nice video, I like your drive for adventure
I’ve seen black bears back. That’d be cool to see Grizz ( from afar 😊). I’d like to see some wolves. Really fine country back there. Thanks for riding along. 👍~Grizz
@@adventurod BC has remarkable beauty. It is easy with the proper subject matter. 👍 It is a magical country, but not to be taken for granted. Thanks for riding with me. ~Grizz
Very nice! I've always wanted to take that ferry. I almost did last summer, but some mechanical issues led me to choose a less remote route. Maybe next year.
You’d love it. It’s a fantastic ride. There are lots of nooks and crannies to explore along the way. Next year I will be back. Thanks for riding with me ~Grizz
@@daveslens Sorry no tracks. Hoping the map helps. If you look for Lillooet and the West Pavillion Road. That will take you to Big Bar Ferry. You can always contact me on ADVRider (GrizzLee) if you have detailed questions. Happy to help. Thanks for riding with me. ~Grizz
Great views even with the smoke. I know it must be an awesome time. What a way to spend retirement! I wonder if I could trailer a Tenere behind the Gold Wing? LOL Thanks again Grizz!!
You could do that I’m certain. Actually, trailer a smaller bike. Set up base camp and go explore on a 250 without all the baggage 👍👍 Cheers mate ~Grizz
Fantastic. I rode that route on July 4th, 2024, the other direction. And while I cannot remember what I had for lunch yesterday I can play the route backwards in my head and remember all the segments you filmed. It was a deceptively long and while I did see two KTM dual sport bikes by Cougar Point, I did not see anyone else on the route that day. Because this trip was recent for me I did not take notes BUT I sure did on the Harrision Lake video and will be adding that to my 2025 hit list. Looking forward to the next video. I did not pass through Gang Ranch my last time out that way so I will be interested to hear if you made it before the Farwell Canyon incident. Not sure if you have done the Cougar Point from the ferry (access High Bar Road) but it is a worthwhile addition to the route. A couple questions?? Do you have a mic in the helmet or does the GoPro pick you up that well? Do you run aux power to your GoPro or do you rely on batteries? My GoPro 8 is weak on the battery thing. Do you carry a near full size tripod for some of those shots? Looking forward to the next video. This was a great video for a snowy morning in Calgary. Key Learning: I do need to stop a bit more for set up pictures, videos, and smell the roses. Thanks for the link to the adv riders posts. Helps with my note taking ... Doug
You are welcome. Yes, I have done the steep grade from cougar point a couple of times. Can have sneaky sand at the bottom… but wow, what view that is from up that way. Please feel free to reach out to me on ADVRider (GrizzLee). We can discuss more about gear and routes. I’m always learning myself. Loved your videos of this area. Never gets old looking at that country. Super Natural. Thanks buddy 👍
great trip so far, thank you!!
