The graphics look like dancing Kidopolis or other petroglyphs. Or maybe many of my own paintings I love it
The sound is great both with or without the snares.

Honestly sounds good just like the other one. Looks like the cave art shows a year of plenty as the stick figures are plump.

They sound very similar. There's a very slight difference but I can't say that's due to the wood or design. It could just be differences from unit to unit. For all intents and purposes they sound the same.
