This matches Papyrus' brand of weird perfectly; I doubt he'd be able to do something like *that*, but his excellent bone manipulation could probably allow for a shield or something similar to nullify your attacks. He'd note inspiration from Undyne, maybe?
I would actually like to see papyrus like this, it gets the feeling that he actually would do this (not really), i still like papyrus canon personality tho.
it is heavily implied in undertale that he has blasters, and why wouldn’t he have orange bones if he has blue bones? as for KR, yeah idk but who knows? maybe he does have it

0:15 Objection! sans is lazy, and papyrus was trained by undyne, and undyne also says that papyrus is pretty freaking tough. And of course, the check text says that sans is the easiest enemy, and that he can only deal 1 damage (which is true because he actually does 1 damage, with kr taking away your inv frames, revealing that he's very weak.), so therefore, this statement is literally wrong, if anything, the line would make more sense if papyrus said that he isnt as knowledgable in fighting as UNDYNE is, since, well, he was trained by her.
@@noobfart Undyne was personally trained by asgore, so she certainly knows more about fighting than sans does. Why would a lazy skeleton who gets tired from dodging a small kid's attacks be more experienced and knowledgable than undyne?
@@dylanzlol7293 miss or sir, have you seen what sans does in the middle and outside his fight? asgore does seem to know the bare minmum yes, but not only does sans actually know more than him, undyne doesnt seem to be the type to use any knowledge or intelligence, she just runs headfirst into things. all your interactions with her showcase that, from her running into hotland to her cooking. thats exactly the reason why she turns super saiyan though, so its not all bad

I actually like this version of Papyrus. He’s like a mix of Sans, Asgore, and his original self. He characteristically pulls out an instruction booklet to understand how turn based combat works. Upset by what he read in the book, he pulls an Asgore and makes the attack button explode, preventing you from ever attacking throughout the fight. He’s also aware of all of the havoc you caused before the fight occurred. I can infer from this that the player is going through a genocide route, this version of Papyrus a Genocide route only boss fight, just like his brother Sans. These comparisons aren’t to show how unoriginal Genocide Papyrus is. It’s just me being overly observant.
maybe papyrus gives more exp than sans in the universe though this is hard to confirm for the regular game, because you would have to get to papyrus and calculate how much exp you receive depending on the exp before same with sans.
Imagine at the end he just says "wait a second, why am I even doing these easy attacks?" And just fills the box with bones and you die instantly, that'd be crazy
