I used to have that type of case back in 2000. I had some AMD cpu with a Shuttle ATX motherboard running a VooDoo GFX card. I went through several motherboards and CPU configs over the years up to the AMD Phenom X4 9750 paired with a GTX 960. Now I miss that case due to this vid. Great customizing of that case.
The case was quite simple in construction. I think that's probably why it lasted for so long. It's great that it lasted several builds, it was much loved. Who knows, you might find the case again in future. Thanks again for the compliment. Cheers!.
Thanks for the tip. Maybe in a future project. This project was meant to be for a server... which didn't end up happening.... Good times. Thanks again for the feedback.
- Cordless Drill - with step drill bit to drill out rivets - 125mm angle grinder - with grinding disc to cut longer less intricate cuts in metal - Dremel - with cutting disc to more intricate cuts in metal. - Pliers - Centre punch with hammer - to make guides to drill holes - Rivet gun - with rivets (not sure what size or length) used to reattach all the pieces - Paint (not sure what brand) - Paint remover (not sure what brand) - Double sided tape - to hold the plexi onto the metal. Make sure you buy high holding strength. - Ratchet clamps - to hold pieces down while cutting. I think that covers the main tools and extras. Don't cut the plexiglass like I did with the angle grinder. Score it with something sharp with a ruler as a guide. Then break it along a straight tables edge. Much safer. You don't have to necessarily go for a Dremel, look for another rotary tool brand with good reviews. I had to replace the one in the video at least twice. I've not had a good experience. Sorry about the late reply and have fun modding. Cheers.

Thank you very much! Your "straight to the point" video encouraged me to do a construction that I have been idealizing for some time.
Do it without music, i mean like asmr
Thanks for the feedback. I just made one here th-cam.com/video/OgELAYvTuqo/w-d-xo.html.

Yes. I would avoid cutting it with an angle grinder, not a great idea.

That's true. Hopefully, the GPU market dies down soon.
