  • In this travel vlog we take a journey up to a lesser known area of China within the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture region which shares a border with North Korea.
We take a trip up to Tumen City, Jilin Province (吉林省,图们市) and literally touch the edge of North Korea (Namyang City, DPRK, to be specific). We try some of the local foods and take in the sights as well as the overall atmosphere of this border city.

What a gem I stumbled upon. Do you have discord? If not you should set one up.
I like how raw and amateur the vlog is. Try to keep it this way. Crisp and informative.

It's so surreal seeing barren North Korea just a hundred feet away. And that mountain top view was awesome!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! Tumen City is a hidden gem in China - most travelers have never even heard of it, let alone been there.

Thanks so much for sharing this video.its the first of yours I've watched, just found it by chance. I've watched other footage or North Korea but hadn't seen this border town. My understanding of Chinese is poor so I only caught a fraction of the conversation around 16:10. I tried turning on subtitles but no luck. I'll listen again and maybe ask questions if you don't mind.

Yeah, for sure! I appreciate you watching and feel free to ask whatever you like! Tumen is a really cool place - a hidden gem. Been there twice.
