She said in an Interview that it’s much harder to work with so many people being involved in the process now. She continued on saying that having so many producers, songwriters, and then the record companies always wants collaborations / duets now. It gets really old hearing over produced music on the airwaves now. Madonnas has always shined her greatest when she focuses in on several different aspects or her ideas that she has and works with a couple people on her music. Like a prayer and Ray of light are perfect examples of that. Rebel heart was a good album, but the Demo’s were actually much better then what ended up on rebel heart. It was a good album, but due to the leaks from some idiot in Israel, hacking her computer and songs, then releasing them to the general public. That’s why all the demos sound better than the ones that were on the album. Very sad but at least we have the demos on here. I just wish she go back to her normal way of writing, producing, and recording albums with her in the driver seat, who is just with a couple people she’s worked with before, or a totally different mix like she did with Ray of light or Confessions on a dance floor. Couldn't agree more. It was so unfortunate she had such a knee-jerk reaction to the leaks. No one in the mainstream heard the leaks, only the fans. She should've continued down this musical path, vs. the horrid travesty of what Kanye and Diplo did to the album.

THIS version is SO MUCH Better than the released album version! I don't know what kind of argument happened between Madonna & Avicii, but Madonna should have put her EGO aside and went with this version. The album version sound genric, dull & lifeless. This version has power, impact & it actually sounds emotional. Loving the pulsating beat, house synths, electric guitar beginning and the 80's sounding background vocals missing from the album version. Thank God this version leaked.
I think Avicii got sick during the recording process, so he wasn't in the studio with her as long as they had planned and she reworked the unfinished demos (many of which didn't need to be reworked, like Rebel Heart) with other collaborators. Are we sure this demo is produced by Avicii though?

I love the album version. Only hearing this version now for the first time and it's great too. I'm happy there are alternate versions of the Rebel Heart songs. I sometimes wish artist would release two versions of the same album (one uptempo one slow) or (one dance and the other alternative). Remixed & Revisited had a few awesome rock versions of the American Life songs.
Just do as I did and make a 3rd CD with the 15 songs that didn't make it and the 6 songs where the demo sounds better than the disc version. Beautiful Scars, Inside Out, Borrowed Time, Illuminati, Wash All Over Me and Hold Tight.
